I replaced my OEM battery last winter/Spring. It was 6 years old and was cranking pretty slow, wasn't completly done, but the new one makes a difference!

Idling diesel engine use a really small quantity of fuel, it is better to leave them running is you want to go back home after your day at work lol!
-50! We don't have this really often here, but a "feel like" can happen. -30* on the thermometer has been seen a few times tho

Think you're looking too far up the standings. The team you're referring to is farther down.

I could never understand how someone can live so far south in the summer. 100-115F, you could cook a chicken in that. I when to Alabama once in July and I've never experience heat like that. It was around 105 and 95% humidity mean instant sweating as soon as you leave anything air conditioned.

I'm just before the Beauty Bay turnoff. When I left Wednesday morning to drive back to Calgary, my truck said it was -40. Real fun loading up in that cold. Even had to lift the dog into the cab. By the time she had finished her pre ride piddle, she was standing on two paws and couldn't jump in on her own. Warmed up to -36 by the time I hit the bypass. Tire pressure warning didn't go out till I hit Regina. Enjoy the heat and humidity while you can.

It is indeed! We'll be heading to Florida in about two weeks ourselves to get away from the winter for 10 days. Hopefully the deep freeze will have broken by the time you head north.

I'm have to be back on the 7th and the weather shows only -15c. Looks like I will miss it. Weather was hot when we first got down here at around 28 and 98% humidity but it has cold off to 21. Very nice.

Yeah we do have to deal with the 100°+ and high humidity. It easy to get stinky in the summer lol.

They changed my battery under warranty. Just take it to the dealership. I had to boost mine and drove to the dealership. The oem battery only lasted about a year.

Yeah sounds about right. Humidity makes the heat feel hotter and the cold feel colder. 30s here is worse than single digits out west. Don't know about negative though. Never been in temps below 0 but I might soon. Heading up to Canada in a month or so.

We can get a wide range of temps in Ohio, from below zero in the Winter to above 100 in the Summer.

    I hear ya.

    Fully support that as well.

I'm in sunny Orlando this weekend. Wife and I brought my son and his girlfriend. I'm an old guy trying to keep up with college kids all over theme parks.

Too much walking. Too many stairs. Too many freaking heart attack inducing rides that skeert my arse.

Sure was nice finally getting into the hot tub with a large glass of Johnny Walker to sip on yesterday afternoon.

    Wearing shorts today, lol.
