    You're right about taking apart the connector to get the horn ground, the best way to see if your pre-wired for CC is to see how many pins are in the clockspring (should be 3 pins).

    Sorry about that. I tried responding twice to you and it kept defaulting to......well nothing.

    You wanted to know why the cruise light was not illuminating. In my post that disappeard I said that you would need to run a wire from the connector on the engine ECU up to the connector on the back of the instrument cluster. I also wondered whether you ran any other wires, such as the one to the engine ECU, the clutch cancel, and the ground as it was not mentioned and it occurred to me that you may only be part of way there.

    Do not assume that anything is pre-wired. Like I said earlier my '09 had absolutely nothing, NADA, zero anything to work with. Some are and some are not. The only thing that seems to be consistent that I have seen is the wire from the engine ECU to the back of the instrument cluster seems to be already there much of the time on later year trucks, but not the earlier.
