Tacoma dash and heater display light bulbs

I am looking to replace my dash and heater display light bulbs... any suggestions? I heard the LED replacements are SWELL... if you have any pictures of your lights lets see them! and add p/n's.

Was thinking on doing this upgrades too so i just need this bulbs ? how's the dash ligths with the amber color ..

 

When I did mine I found quite a few helpful threads on this. Just make sure you get the 360° beam pattern bulbs so not to get hotspots.

01-04 bulbs are different for the hvac. You need neo t4's.

You used #74's for your hvac? Those are neo t4's for every 01-04 I have seen. That's a twist in style bulb rather then a plug in

Corrected my first response above.
Back when I did mine, I'm not sure these (neo t4's) were available. I went back to my original order from Superbrightleds and these were the ones I ordered. I had to very carefully take the positive and negative led wires and wrap them around the plastic factory wedge. I then used epoxy to ensure they would stay in place.
Definitely easier to do with the neo t4's!!

I wanted to stick close to the factory color, and the Amber is pretty much spot on....just brighter.

 

Went with blue.fyi the redline readings is pretty much blacked out with this mod if using any other colors then white,red, or orange/amber.

 

That looks awesome! hopefully I don't run into any issues when ripping apart my dash!

 

It's really simple, just keep track of the screws and bolts. Took me about an hour the first time. Now I can do it in about 20min.

*edit* also don't cheap out and get ebay bulbs. You will be ripping it all apart again when they start to flicker. Vleds.com or superbrightleds.com is a good source.

 

If you have a tach you need 4 #194's. if not you only need 3 for the dash cluster.
