    Debatable. My dad is a a diesel convert. Went from a 5.0 Ford, to another 5.0 Ford, to a 5.3 Sierra, and now has a 3.0 Duramax, and he adores it. Swears up and down he's never getting rid of it. He repeadtly tells me "The only thing I'll replace this truck with is a diesel Tacoma, and we both know that ain't happening". I was very close to buying a Canyon AT4 (or maybe chevy ZR2) to get the 2.8 Dmax.
