    Not trying to knock what other folks do to protect themselves, it makes no difference to me, but my initial reaction is that's pretty excessive to carry on the door. If I'm still in a gunfight after the 4th pistol mag then I was outgunned from the get-go and a pistol wasn't the right tool. You might as well stash an AR in the back seat at that point.

    I chose to mount the magnet on the door because even though we are an open carry state, when driving your vehicle you can not have the weapon on you. If you have your CC permit you can have it on you, and I have the paperwork submitted but its a 60 to 90 day turn around right now. Maybe it is too many mags, but what good is a gun without ammo?
