So I have a 06 Tacoma with a 2 in leveling kit. My truck shutters around 45-60 mph. Seen post that the problem is the two piece driveshaft. So I'm looking to get a new driveshaft, but idk if I should get single driveshaft or modify my two piece. What's your opinions on this?

Options depend on your configuration which is not in your sig. dclbs can't/shouldn't go to a one piece shaft because of excessive wear on the trans tail shaft seal causing trans fluid leaks. Acs and dcsbs can go to a one piece, and, iirc, the recommended configuration is a double cardin(?) joint in front. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Do a search, plenty to find.

    Welcome to TW.

If you installed a 2" leveling kit up front only (assuming it is actually 2"), you will have slightly degreased your driveshaft angle. This should not require a custom driveshaft as this is how the TRD Pros come from the factory, but some Tacomas get the vibration issues whereas others do not. A more fun experiment might be to add a 1.5" progressive AAL to the back to increase the driveshaft angle and see if that cures the problem. But of course no guarantees that it wouldn't cause it in the other direction. I have a 1.75" front lift and 1.5" rear AAL and no vibrations.

Take the 'leveling kit' out and see if the shudder goes away? If yes, leave it out?

Giving up 'style' for a quality ride seems reasonable. At least to me.

Tbh a 1 piece dshaft for our teucks has to be fairly small diameter tube, our trucks are almost too long for it. The 2 piece reduces the angle by utilizing the carrier bearing
