Just remember, every shit driver you have in your state comes here to Florida to retire.

10 under in the passing lane, dead stop mid onramp, swap lanes in the middle of an intersection, etc...

    Worst of the worst.

I go 5 over and take heat for it. I blame my dad for telling me the cops will leave you alone if that's all you do.
I go 10 over I feel like a speed demon. Whoa!

    Happy birthday!

Thats how it should be. Unfortunately maybe 2% of drivers from my experience move out of the way. The other morons will stay in left lane and give me the finger or brake check me. Thats with all these signs we have that say " left lane is for passing only, let others pass"

They should have more of these signs as well.

Oklahoma state law: Do not impede the left lane. We even have signs up for it.
They have clarified that includes even if you are going the limit and you're holding up the speeders.

    Still happens, though.

I would like this guy to install a dash cam so we can see what the issue really is, be sure to have a shot of your speedometer. Also why does it bother you so much that people pass you. Signs that you should stop driving or need to move to mayberry.with less traffic. 1-does it take you 3 minutes to go from a stop to get to 30mph,2-do people look at you when they pass you,3-do people flip you the bird,4-do you drive in the left lane while side by side with a car on the right so others cant pass,.these are some signs that you may just drive to slow

This is why I got a orange truck... if you cant see a 20 foot long bright orange truck, then you probably should not be driving.

True dat. Bottom line is there are always going to be fast drivers and drivers that drive like an idiot as well as people driving distracted so all we can do with those are be alert and not get into an accident with them. I believe if your driving 30 over posted speed limit your an accident waiting to happen as well as texting and driving and you see them speeding, slowing down, swerving so when bad things happen so do there driving habits

We have a similar law in Alabama, but most don't pay attention to it.
It drives me more crazy when people drive 50 in a 55 (thinking they are speeding) on the 2 lane road out to my house. I know they aren't paying attention b/c the limit drops to 45 and then down to 35 as you get into town, AND THEY NEVER CHANGE SPEEDS!

On the other end of the spectrum, driving the interstate last week and watched a BMW pass me doing at least 90 in a 70. When the person in the left lane didn't go on out of their way they took the shoulder on a bridge to go around them. Slung rocks all over the other car jumping back in the left lane. Lost sight of them after they used all 4 lanes to continue their speeding.

    It could be worse, OP.

I watched as a 20 year old woman passenger was ejected across five lanes of interstate before I could look away. Gave me lovely, lovely PTSD and a flood of shitty memories whenever I run into a lunatic on the road, which is frequent.

Take it from a guy who grew up driving a Volvo station wagon. it's not a tacoma thing, it's a people thing. I tend to avoid the left lane unless passing or going faster than the general flow. I generally don't care what other people think. The people that piss me off are the ones that speed up to pass you well over the limit, then slow down. FFS. You also get the ones who don't think ahead and want to speed up at a light to pass you. Every day it's something else

I live in a city with sequenced stop lights. It's pretty great having people tailgate you for going the speed limit, then get in front of you and speed off to a red light. Then I have to put on the brakes cuz they're at a dead stop when the light is turning green as I get to the intersection.

I came to the conclusion a long time ago, that aggressive driving does nothing but add stress, burn more gas, and is less safe, all for a couple saved minutes at best. All you can do is shake your head and laugh at the bs around you.

    It's a secret
If I'm in a bummed out mood I cruise at posted limit on far right lanes on the highway/freeways...
If I'm in a neutral mood, you can find me in the middle lanes...
But when I'm in a (normally) good and happy mood, I frequent the passing left lanes while listening to upbeat Lindsey Sterling :goingcrazy:

If you don't like being cut off while driving, perhaps move right or drive faster...I have noticed that drivers who get cutt off are the same people who end up cutting off someone else and not driving the slightest bit fast than the person he or she cut off and in turn often causes that person to make a retaliation cut off and slow down...

Here in CA the speed limit while towing a trailer is 55 mph and restricted to the right lane (or two lanes). I'll keep it at 60 but that's about it.

I get tailgated, brake checked, blocked in, cut off, flipped off, and generally abused even though I'm in the slow lane.

    Incredible.

Wish I'd saved a screenshot. The original was basically performance art.
