Hey, I didn't do that on my Tacoma. And here I am now. But this time going into it debt free I think I can dump alot of money into paying off the car pretty quickly and then be able to start modding guilt free :D

Just cleaned and (lightly) oiled my filter last night and cleaned the MAF as well. I dont get a lot of build up in my throttle body at all... and prior to the oiled filter.. I would constantly throw codes for a clogged/dirty filter and MAF. I believe its all about how much oil and just keeping up with it. its easy and filters better than any combo I've had before.

Any more info on that air intake dyno chart @Flowmaster Exhaust? This is getting off topic but not much action anyways.

I dunno man I swear by the AFE ProDry's these days. Have yet to find much if any in the intake/TB since I switched. My K&N and TRD (oiled IIRC) I used to find stuff past it constantly, no matter how I oiled it.

I feel ya dude. everyone's truck is different and so are the conditions. I've had the TRD oiled and non-oiled, the AFE dry, and now the K&N oiled. I really only switched to the K&N oiled due to the snorkel and needing a factory filter. I know AFE makes one too, but I also cut out my secondary charcoal filter, so wanted a little extra filtration. I think the AFE is a denser filter, so it can filter equally without oil... so dense dry vs thinner lightly oiled. :notsure: I'm no expert by any means.. just sharing what I've found over the years. This is all in dry ass Az where we have about a 50/50 air to dust ratio.

@OVTune I’m really enjoying the added performance from the 91 oct. tune. But our gas prices in BC have sky rocketed to $1.65 a litre for premium. Is there any chance of squeezing out any more gains from the 87 oct tune? Or adding a tow/haul tune with more low end torque. Thanks!

Does anyone know how this tuner would play well with a URD MAF calibrator? I have a CAI in addition to LT headers and y pipe. Not sure if I want to get the calibrator or just wait until the tuner and let that do it’s thing

I have a 2014 automatic sport 4.0, will this be worth getting? I have no clue what I'm doing. Is this the same as a pedal commander / sprint booster? What's the best thing to get? This & cold air intake / exhaust is what I'm planning on getting now that I have my lift / tires just for a little more fun, am I doing it right?

Sorry to keep everyone waiting. I arrive back in the USA tomorrow and will have a lot of updates available soon after.
I understand overall support on the 4.0 has been abysmal and I want to apologize and let everyone know we have many plans with the platform. We just got completely over-run with the actual size of the tacoma community.

Anyways my team member Rafael will be serving the 4.0 guys with some new updates and information soon on our zendesk. I will focus on full time development while he focuses on customer support (emails, files, etc). Transitioning to our new zendesk ticket system has caused a bit of confusion for customers, we are trying to get it all sorted.

Great news! I feel like this is what you needed all along, someone to handle the customers and let you focus on the magic. It's prob not easy getting bombarded with an insane amount of emails (guilty) while trying to develop the product at the same time.
