Not yet sorry, after we get all pending handhelds completed first.
Rafael is helping now to get all these taken care of and our goal is to be done with them all tonight and tomorrow.
Rafael is now setup and taking over a lot of this stuff so delays are going to be gone from this point

    Hi all!
I've typed in every iteration of "05-12 4.0 four litre tacoma toyota ovtune orange virus tune 2nd gen second generation review results specs" on this forum and Google AND have read all 175 pages.

I'm wondering if anyone has a review of the Ovtune for a second gen tacoma; specifically, I have a 2009 6speed. I'd like to know the first impressions/overview/longterm results for this engine year(s).

The 3rd gen has really good reviews, but I'm wondering if the 2nd gens will have the same, or similar, reactions or results.
Any searches I try bring up 3.5 tunes.

Or, if anyone has a link to something that might answer my questions, that would be great! I've done the reading with no results.

I've contacted Mat and he responded very quickly, but I'd rather not bother him with questions that I might find here, as I'm sure he's had to answer them a million times. His response was that the tunes are available in the flash form and would be similar, from 05 to 12, even though the ECUs are slightly different. I'm wanting some real life reviews. Just wanting to do my due diligence as the tune/shipping/exchange is $850 to Canada and want to ensure (as much as I can) a pleasing result.

    Any power gains?
    Smoother power delivery?
    Higher MPG?
    Other pros or cons?

    Again, 2009 6 speed

    Thanks to all!

    Barrett

Ps I'll post any replies from Mat in regards to my inquiries with him

@Bartlett18 Hey I have a 2009 5sp auto though. I was part of the original group that got these tuners, so I’ve been running the tuner for months now. The gains are really noticed while running the 91 oct tune. Truck pulls harder above 3000 rpm and feels smoother through the rpm’s. MPG has remained about the same. In Canada it sucks because 91 is $1.60 a litre. With the 87 oct tune my butt dyno can’t feel the increase in power, still waiting on the dyno tests to be posted. Do you live close to the border? I just get stuff shipped to the Montana shipping outlet than head down and pick things up

None on the engine and exhaust. AFE pro dry S filter. Have suspension,33’s, skids sliders and plate bumpers for some extra weight...
