    My shit is all stock.
    I like that idea. Adapt a MAP sensor to send compatible signals and use the MAF input. Then re-map based on the new numbers.

    Doesn't "sound" like it'd be all that difficult from a hardware standpoint.

    Looks like the Toyota sensor runs off of B+ tho. The GM sensor wants 5v. So, there'll be some finagling there.

    The second Tacoma at my house belongs to my 21yo son, who complained endlessly when he had to learn to drive on MT vehicles. (That's all we own!) Now, like my wife and me, he won't even consider owning an AT. Trouble is, MT options are dwindling by the day... :(

    BTW, you're right about very few of our sons' generation knowing how to drive MT.

    I learned how to drive on my Dad’s 85 pickup. Was a good fun truck and he still has it to this day. I wanted a MT truck but out here in cali it seems they are a dying breed because when I was looking to buy I could only find one worth getting, but it had been previously stolen so I passed it up.

    My first car in high school (which was 8-9 years ago at this point) was a crappy 5 speed Hyundai. It was a lot of fun to drive even though it was slow. I've been in my AT tacoma for a few years now and from time to time I do miss being able to shift through the gears.
