I would seriously love to try to get a e30 or e85 tune. Could I run e30 or e85 on stock pump and injectors? I'd like to do it cause then I'd put on long tube headers.

Got the tune in there today and ended up doing the 93 tune, its a lot of fun :)

Nope. It is technically inferior, as well as would conflict with what your OVTune is adjusting.

Finally got my tune set up after a long, long wait. I have an na truck all stock. I wanted to try the 87 tune before the 91 so I patiently ran two tanks through. First impressions are the throttle response is a lot better. The truck will run all the way to redline and feels like it pulls stronger. It holds 5th on uphills when it would down shift before. It coasts better and my scanguage shows 70mpg when it’s normally 60. It feels like it runs smoother overall. Here’s the best part.

As you can see I’ve tracked almost 50k miles. I pretty much always get 16-16.5 driving local. That 19.3 was a fluke where it was a 55mph speed limit 90% of my drive and I ran 91 which I find does give a little better mpg on road trips. My first tank I got 18 and my second 18.9, closer to 19.5 with my 3% tire increase. I really like the 87 tune so far. It takes a little getting used to because it wants to hold 4th around 35-40mph. If you let off it will shift to 5th and get really good mpg on surface streets.
I just filled up with 91 and will run a few tanks and report back :burnrubber:

@OVTune Mat, still waiting from you as to how to proceed with my open box handheld. The update that was supposed to fix my issue did not work.

Mat had to email his support/servers in Italy. He emailed me today to tell me to update it once again.....it went through approximately 10 minutes updating and was good to go. I went to my truck, it uploaded my trucks info in like 30 seconds. I then went to my computer to download my info to the file....that took like 10 seconds. I fired it off to Mat and now am just waiting for my tune...

For TRD customers with larger pulleys, we have been working on expanded tables (see below) to allow a wider tuning range.
This will be done on several tables.
(example image of what I mean)

We're also working on our own ignition routine in code (similar to our v2.0 blog for the 3rd gen here)
    https://www.ovtuned.com/blogs/news/...atch-development-info-enhancing-efficiency-x2

This stuff is being worked on with an expected release this summer.

(trd ignition top, our extended ignition bottom)

one of the main things we have been working on is making it safer, with more ignition code related to knock and IAT control due to blower temps. At the same time we are modifying the load code in the ECU so 0-159% load is more use-able

Progress has been slow, but not a stand still.
