Not really sure where all the hate comes from Mat, @OVTune in regards to your products. Yes, you were first. Yes, you beat all the big corporate names to the table. Yes, you have a vast amount of experience and knowledge in what you are producing and continue to refine. You are absolutely geared for those looking to buy a fish. What folks utilizing products like @HPTuners are excited about is that now they are allowed to infinitely explore what you don’t have the time to do for each and every custom application. It is more geared towards those more interested in learning how to fish.

Whenever, I sell something regardless if I made it or bought it, I see it as my name on the line. I sold your product with the confidence in knowing what you made was solid and worked well as I ran it. I dismiss the haters and know that half the trolls couldn’t even change the air in their tires much less program an ECU or build a custom twin turbo setup. Keep it up!

Is there a noticable difference in feeling how the truck drives after flashing the 87 tune compared to stock? I flashed my truck on Friday with the 87 tune and I’m not sure if it’s in my head but I think I can feel a difference but it’s not much.

Theses not a huge difference with 87, just throttle / shifting and such. No power gained

Received thanks, please connect your handheld to your computer to fully update your software, so I can send it back. Alientech has had a rather large SW update

Is there a tune available for the 2.7" pulley and 91/93 octane? This would be for the handheld.

If there is, I'll be shopping for a snout cutter and quikchange pulley.

Yes I can make a tune for 2.7 pulley. No idea if JuanitoBunito ever used our map, seems he is looking at HPTuners. (which everyone should know going into it, is only software, not a tune)

Yeah fellas, I got it. I’ve yet to upload into my handheld just yet because my pulley and a couple supporting mods are going on 10/9.

As far as hp, I just dabble over there. It’s on my radar but don’t know if I’ll ever pull the trigger. Mats tune should complete everything im looking for and need.

I’ll report back when done.

Is there any way to check if the flash worked With the toyflash software when I plug in the flash kit into my trucks port like if I was checking the ecu ID? I noticed there’s a read button on the software.

Ok, so very initial impressions. Granted I only drove my truck around my neighborhood for a few minutes. I got the snout cut, quick change pulley pressed on, fpr, and uploaded the 2.7 tune all yesterday.

Right when I started it up, it seemed like it idled smoother. I don’t know if it’s just because I wanted/expected it to or it really did. My truck did seem to sound different due to the idle. Driving around I then quickly noticed a change in the rev hang. I didn’t drive it enough to see just how much it’s improved......but I can definitely tell it is improved. Afr’s I noticed I’m running a tad rich. I’ll keep an eye on this and if I determine it’s too rich, I’ll reverse the FPR mod and then reevaluate. All the other things that Mat tweaked I couldn’t tell you what he did for me.
I’m sure that is in why it idles smoother. I’ll definitely have to drive more for a better eval. So far so good, for the little I’ve driven it.

Also, the tune is for 91 octane. I have 93. Mat, would I get a noticeable amount of benefit if the tune was for 93? I put 93 in it anyway because I’m forced to due to the supercharger.

Thanks for the initial impression! I wonder if the rev-hang felt minimized because of the addtl boost from the smaller pulley. Or if the effect was minimized from the new software.

Looking fwd to an update after you put some miles on it!

And yes, I totally think there would be a benefit if you can tune for 93 octane with the 2.7". Im guessing a more aggressive ign timing curve etc...

91 octane tunes are for us less fortunate CA residents.

I figured there would be a difference in the octane. I’m sure he just overlooked it. The pulley in itself means I’m F/I. I really didn’t go hard on it because I was in my neighborhood so I didn't go into boost very much. The couple times I did though...gently given my surroundings I can tell it goes into boost sooner than given what I had, in the 2.825.

@OVTune Mat, if this 91 tune you sent me can be optimized for max benefit to a 93 octane, can you tweak this for me when your time allows?
