Maybe, for some reason I feel like I read in your previous post that it was another Tacoma you were talking about. Yeah drop the tc to the ground hella flush with stance so you can't park in the driveway without coming at it from an angle

That's the plan. JDM As Fuck bro.. lol

Add yellow fogs, new wheels.. Flush.. no stance and no lips or skirts as it will be my wife's daily still.. and I don't want to deal with that learning curve of her driving a lowered car. Lol

Just clean and simple. All black and White of course. ;)

I believe I had seen there will be a version with a preset tune, and a version for those who want to tweak anything.

Can you tease us with another update on this? I'll admit that I'm also one of the guys who's $$ is burning a hole in their pocket for this product. I hope the production tune is released soon before my pants burn off. :bananadead:

Sorry but I'm still not totally clear. Assuming DTC is Diagnostic Trouble Code, having control over those is great but it's not really what I'm asking. In addition to tuning, I'm asking can your product specifically write out, as in Delete, the Secondary Air System (SAS) entirely so that the owner can basically remove the components and not have to ever worry about it triggering a fault in the ECU. All trucks 2012+ were equipped with SAS. Cold starts trigger the air pump to run to 'preheat' the Cats, it also runs at shut off as well. However, this component is prone to failure and can be pricey. I don't want the ECU to look for it, run it, or use it in any way. There has to be some line of code in there that on start up initiates the process of checking the pump and I'd like to delete all that code as though the truck never even came with a pump like the 05-11 models. This would allow the system to be removed, block off plates installed, and also eliminate the need for 12+ trucks have to run aftermarket headers with provisions for SAS.

A similar work around E46 BMW owners used to accomplish this was re-flashing with the tunes of Euro counterparts from countries where the equivalent vehicle was not equipped with SAS. The system was basically written out entirely and could even be removed from the car with no fault. Come inspection time, when plugged into OBD2 the monitors for this system showed as 'Not Available' which basically told the inspector that the vehicle is not equipped which this system and the vehicle would therefore pass inspection. This is in contrast to 'Not Ready' which tells inspector they are available just not working. It's been a few years since I read up on this but that's the basics of what I remember. I get that it's a whole different vehicle, ecu, and process. This is only meant as a frame of reference.

Also I'm looking forward to seeing this product develop further and I think what you're doing is awesome. I don't mean to come across negative. I just figured while you're in there, it'd be great if deleting the SAS could also be accomplished and I think it could potentially open you up to more people looking to purchase a solution to this problem. Having the tuner capabilities along with it is a great bonus.

once I get a ECU with these parts I can reference the code and data vs one without and see about eliminating it properly like you're asking
