    @OVTune
    I've placed an order through your online store to reserve one of the Handheld Tuner (SC). Discount code and payment method were accepted.
    In my haste, I forgot if I had to list specific details like (vehicle year, FI or NA, additional performance mods, max octane rating, etc).

    Can you clarify what vehicular info (if any) is required when the purchaser submits the order form? Thanks

    If you missed on adding the vehicle info no worries. There will be some communication between us for setting up the handhelds so anything you forgot to tell or explain we will end up discussing anyway.

    Been talking with a couple shops in town, I'm glad well get some base files to go off of because they were a little confused. Don't know which dyno you use, but I believe most of the shops I'm talking with are Mustang AWD-500-EC's.

    You don’t have to use an awd dyno, you tune the truck in 2hi. No real reason to run in 4wd unless you just wanted to see the power it made after the driveline loss.

    First, I'm a PreRunner :D
    And second, yes, but this is what they have, I don't pick what dyno the shop has.

    Maybe I misread what you were saying. Now that I reread I think you were just asking ovtune which dyno they use and not a question of which you “should” use.

    Precisely, numbers differ from dyno to dyno, and sometimes is substantial depending on brand of dyno. When @OVTune gets official numbers, I want to see what brand to figure out how much a difference the two are making, essentially comparing my stock tuned numbers to what OVTune can make themselves. Just an inquiry.

    I hear ya, we have a local Subaru shop that has a self proclaimed heartbreaker dyno. My WRX made 278whp there and 307whp at another shops dyno day. At least with multiple dynos you can compare and get a baseline of where you should be.

    Dyno to dyno numbers don't matter. You should have a baseline done on whatever dyno you plan on running on afterwards, that's the only truly meaningful comparison. Too many variables otherwise.

    So if I bought a Diy one its $595? And It will be loaded with the 5 base tunes already on it if it takes me awhile to get to a dyno?

    And any word on max injector size?
