I got the same calibration. Front of the line pass since there's two?

So has anyone actually flashed their ecu with ovtune's handheld device?

Don't believe so with a handheld. I know I had multiple emails with OVTune today sending my ecu info back and forth so I could get my self tune files. He'll be sending my files soon, probably tomorrow.

I am waiting on my calibration to be added to the app. once I can download my stock to the handheld I will ship off the into to OVTune and wait on the tune. The doc says up to 72 hours to get the tune back but since he is juggling 4.0L handheld, self tune, 3.5L manual and auto I bet he is very busy. I have lots of time.

I’m not complaining but I would like my handheld functional before February.

Very very interested and really hope this works as described. Admittedly, I'm discouraged at the amount of "files not found" vs. successful flashes. Will hold off ordering for my 2011 DCSB TRD OR til some Hand Held success is achieved.

The “file not found” is absolutely nothing to be discouraged by. OP doesn’t have every single ECU in his system. It’s just a data collection point in the process.

The work he did with the 3rd gen 3.5 is very, very impressive. I’m hoping we get similar results.

    My shit is all stock.
These are the very first ones for our trucks. Mat has done several other Toyota’s. It will all be sorted out. Growing pains, like he said.

I am super eager to get this party started myself. Hang in there everyone. Awesomeness is about to be served. I can smell it cooking.

    DanoDavis and BillDaCat8,
I'm more than pretty sure you are right. I just dislike this "computer control" take over so much it sometime clouds the facts in front of me. There use to be a learning curve to four wheeling, now you don't need to know much more than what button to push to get up of down a steep slope.

I'm 99.9% sure I will get a hand held unit after the new year, just would enjoy read several of the success stories first. I'd bet once the success flood gate is opened OV will be overwhelmed.

    Thanks
    Bob

I'm hoping to get this programming for the 2015 SC equipped taco shortly. I've got a grudge race with my son in a week. I've only put $10,000 on it at this point...
