Thanks for volunteering your SC truck for testing.

Can you list the engine mods to your truck? I'm looking forward to the results. My OVTune handheld is collecting dust.

So as it is now with the trd tune the truck made 320 hp 325 tq. Any numbers after this I will let ovtune release/discuss unless he gives me permission to post them. I think that pull was in 3rd gear, not sure if he removed the speed limiter to use 4th. I’m technically not allowed in the dyno room so I am chilling outside the bay:anonymous:

Totally. I would have. For some reason I was not getting notified of updates on the thread. Checked it and I think the last one was sold a couple hours before I checked it. Just missed it... =(

Well sans headers I'm at a similar setup on the trd flash. So I like those numbers for a pre-ovtune starting point

Just know his shop is at ~500 ft elevation. So the higher we go the less power. I am happy with the numbers as well, will be happier to see a little bit more!

Oh yeah I know elevation changes everything. The dyno at my old shop was 30' below sea level lol. But it is best to reference numbers from sea level, not from me up here at 7000' lol. I'm probably pushing 250rwhp up here if you just pulled 320 down there

SC w/urd pulley, afe cai, URD LT's, TRD cat back. 375hp. Custom logos, tonneau cover, westin bar with piaa lights, aero force gauges, custom front air dam, Westin step bars.
GT7-if they won't break into the 9's they won't do the job.

Needless to say, most anything we use for a backup is gonna be faster then these trucks.

So....have we got a file for these sc setups yet?

1 1/2" lift with 5100's, custom exhaust, LT Headers, URD CAI, URD MAF Calibrator, Electric fan, Camper shell, retrofit projectors, and other goodies..
On an N/A motor, you lose about 3.5% per 1000 feet.
Mon a F/I motor, you lost about 1.5% per 1000 feet.

Not taking into account density altitude, but that’s a good rule of thumb to go by.

So that F/I 320HP is roughly 300-305HP @7000 feet, pending altitude density, which could reduce it further.

Wouldn’t a 3rd gear pull make the numbers look better? I thought you wanted it as close to a 1:1 ratio. When I had had mine on the dyno he did a 4th gear pull and I made around 255hp at 5300’ elevation. When I do it again I’ll have him do it in 5th because I think that’s 1:1 in the 6spd.

320 with a 2.85 pulley? Jesus, no wonder I feel like my truck has major cojones with the 2.5 pulley.

I hate you AND your 2.55...

My truck feels like a rocketship when I get off the mountain and down to sea level every once in a while.

Stock tune runs lean up top on this 2.85. Not too bad though
