All that is left at this point is a couple ECU IDs and the TRD files and we are set.
    Waiting on italy....

Italy has been giving us problems since that scoundrel Mousilleni...

I have to head to Phx tomorrow afternoon, so was hoping to get it before then. But if I have to pull my ecm info out and then email it to you I'm guessing that will take more time then I have?

I'm wondering if it's my dual aeroforce gauges that cause this truck to constantly have the computer running or if all the 2015 tacomas do this? I don't recall my 2010 doing it. Seems to be cycling the sc coolant pump at all hours as well as just making underhood noises constantly.

Mines a 2011and cycles the coolant pump periodically. Didn't even notice it for a year or two lol. No gauges for me either. Only thing I messed with on the sc was smaller pulley and new belt

If you installed the SC according to the 12-15 installation guide, then the coolant pump circuit is tied to the secondary air injection pump circuit in the fuse box. Since the air injection pump gets power sporadically for emissions bullshit or something like that when the truck is off... so does the coolant pump.

Aha. I wondered if it was tied to the air pump nonsense, as the 2010 didn't have this setup, and I sure don't remember all this underhood noise all the time. I mean I've gone out at 2am and the thing is cycling. I also didn't have the headers setting the codes on the 2010 after the 02 simulator and I think the 2010 had a little more zip.

Ive also noticed that with temps finally dropping into the 20's that it drags just a little bit when starting. Another downside to all this stuff is the battery gets a workout.

@OVTune Does the handheld tuner change when the Ecu goes from closed loop to open loop?

So should we be updating the hand helds and just trying to pull data to see if we were on the lucky list? I haven't tried mine in a week or so.

I have tried three times since last Friday. I am not in there yet. I brought it to work just in case :) I also filled up with 91 Octane in the hope that I can turn this thing around during this tank full.... not likely but maybe it will produce good karma.

Luckily, my son couldn't make the drag challenge tonight, so I have a little reprieve for a few more weeks. Hope to get the tune installed by then. The track in Phx was loaded up tonight.

As an FYI, at 55 degrees my previous 2010 truck with the TRD blower 2.85 pulley and tune, jba LT's, afe cai and TRD cat back showed 365 hp at the crank on the aeroforce gauge and when running it down the dragstrip the mph showed right at what a 20% deduction would be for wheel hp.

My current 2015 with the same sc, pulley and tune with an afe cai, TRD cat back and URD LT's showed 375 hp via the gauge at 60 degrees. Tonight at 55 degrees and running the 2.7 pulley the gauge showed 393 hp. I would hope with the tune that will bump up past 410 hp and then hopefully get to the dragstrip early enough to get in a couple of runs before it's an hour wait to do so.
