They messaged me back that all of those files are now online, and if you update the handheld it will be recognizable.

@OVTune was 3YWG4100 submitted? I plugged in handheld to application went through rather long update and saw its version 149 now. But when plugged into truck still says no stock file found when I continue it says 3YWG4100 not found.

Would have been too simple for Toyota to make just a few calibration files, wouldn't it?

So a TW member from my local area shared this:

“A very very smart person I work with has connections with Toyota engineers, and speaks highly of the OVTune product.
Overcoming the EPA mandates would naturally make a better performing engine...”

So I’m gonna continue the course and stick with @OVTune ...I’m really interested to see what my truck can do with different logic....better fuel efficiency vs horsepower vs driveabilty.

    anyone with the 304801000 , YWG2600 / YWG3900

if it is still not recognizing your ECU can you please plug the handheld into the software, download the LOG file and email this to me.
I swear I've used these handhelds on multiple other cars and the entire tC platform (with around 20 cal versions) and have never once ran into it not seeing the damn ECU IDs when properly in the database.

Got a "tuning file empty" warning this time, Does that mean the handheld recognizes the ECU but just needs a tuning file uploaded to it?

Yep that means it successfully saved your stock ECU Data,

check my handheld instructions, plug into the software, download your stock data and email it to me, then I can send you a tune package

I know the 3.5 and 4.0 engines are completely different. Curious though, what’s the hp and torque gains for the 3.5? From reading some of the post on that long thread, sounds like people were more interested in mpg’s and better shifting for autos.

Ive been eagerly watching this to see how thing progress. I have 2 questions for @OVTune

    1. I looked on the website and it says sold out, will there be more units coming soon (please forgive if you already addressed this and i missed it).

    2. I am eagerly waiting dyno results (i know these are coming soon, more of a statement than a question).

It’s not working yet; I tried updating this morning as well. I’ve been emailing back and forth with Mat @OVTune and he’s got the log files from several users and has sent to the programmers in Italy for analysis as to why the handheld is not reading the ECUs.

I do think we are close though.

Late to the party, but I just updated and still got file not found for 3YWG3900. Emailed the log file to you.
