Here’s some commom Q’s I get a lot in my PMs:

Yes I was on the stock TRD tune

My mpgs have not changed much and I think when I go back to summer gas they will improve

I never understood people wanting a supercharger yet worry about mpg

You have a build thread? Curious what your mods are.

Mine gets a pretty consistent 13.5 MPG. Is that good? :D

I thibk once people put on their heavy offroad tires, bumpers, sliders, bed racks etc they want to get anything they can. I agree for to get the best mpg you are basically driving the truck with out the supercharger..

No build thread but I should probably start one. At the time of the dyno this is what I had:

    Bypass jet removed
    AFE air intake (dry)
    Urd 2.85 stealth pulley
Jba shortie headers with stock cats welded on
    Banks 3” catback
    Stock ypipe
    Deatschwerks 255 lph fuel filter

    I think that’s everything.

What?! Nobody supercharged gives a shit about fuel economy. Its all about the power!

That said you should do like an AEM meth kit, larger injctors, and the 2.7 pulley and get tuned so I can get a copy of your tune from OVTune and then move on with my life lol.

I’m probably going to put together my own meth kit, just gonna inject it at the throttle body instead of tapping into the supercharger.

I might do 2.55 or 2.7 pulley haven’t decided which one yet, and will probably get my stock injectors reflowed instead of buying one that requires an adapter. Time will tell :D:spending:

Well get on that cause i want some of the good stuff. And im tired of figuring it out on my own.

If i could just do the 2.7 and a tune and get, i dunno 35hp id call it a day and leave the truck as is. Its been pretty reliable and ive been boosed for about 92,000 miles. Id like another 90k before major problems start showing.

Mine is running fine with the UCON but for the sake of simplicity it would be cool to just run the stock ECU only.

Would need it to run 640cc injectors, disable some of the DTCs relating to catalytic converters and losing the secondary air injection would be a nice bonus.

Curious how much dyno time would be needed to make it run correctly.

He can tune for bigger injectors, I’m not sure if 640 is the trd injector size I was just assuming

    I think trd is 525cc? Can’t remember.

With the TRD injectors my data logs at WOT were like 85% duty cycle for the main 6 and 40% for the 7th.

I think the 640cc would be enough.

Every year toyota does updates and the calibration id changes. Sometimes multiple time per year. Trd tune are also considered another calibration.

When are more ECU versions going to be added? Even though we've been told its a matter of time, I haven't seen the green light to update the handheld for the other versions. Is this still waiting on the 3rd party Italian company to commit the changes in the repository? Or has another hiccup occurred?

I'm still waiting on YWG2900 before I can do a thing.
