Ok I have a quick update! Keep in mind I have like 2 feet of snow on the ground where I live so i can't go all out.

I have a 2014 dcsb N/A with a 3 inch lift, 33 inch tires, bumper, winch, sliders, roof rack.

Mbrp drop off cat back exhaust, and an arm drop in filter.

Butt dyno is telling me there is more power. Its no racecar, but there is Deffinately more power there.

There used to be a lag between when I press the pedal and when the pickup actually recieved the signal to rev up. There is instant response now which really makes a difference.

The pickup does not search for gears as much anymore. The transition between gears is a lot smoother, and it goes into higher rpms before shifting into the next gear.

This is all from a 10 min drive in the snow, across town. Theres probably a lot more that has changed, but so far the product has been worth the wait!

Thank you, both, for responding! I realize Internet connectivity is required for the update to work and probably should have explicitly stated my network had stable Internet connectivity throughout every attempt to update. As stated in my PM to @OVTune, I'm an IT guy who maintains a pretty tight control over my home network's security - it would be helpful to know the site/address/ports required for updates to work. FWIW, I tried updating via a laptop plugged directly into my (online) cable modem. Sadly, that produced the same error message.

N/A I just flashed 91 and made a 8 hour round trip with 140 inbetween in Mojave Road with 14.7-15.4 mpg and 10.8 OR. Your observations are spot on to what I felt. It’s not crazy but it’s there and feels much smoother and responsive

Well I drove it today with the 93 octane tune all I can say is it is super smooth throughout the rpm range including the transmission shifts it is down right fast even for a heavy truck I have full skids sliders front and rear steel off-road bumpers winch water system and 5 heavy 285 Cooper STT. My only observation that I need to look at further is the AFR going OSL to 8.5 when stomping on it but it drives great.

This was my quote back in The fall when this buy was stirring

Add me to the list after 10 months of running the Magnuson S/C 2.85 pulley and XBDTIS (extracted BD tune then hooked up to the Toyota TIS diagnostic) mod, i am ready for it to run like a Camry!

Well Mat @OVTune mission accomplished it now accelerates smoothly like a badass Camry I am so happy that you were able to break in to the ecm and unfuck the stupid bully dog tune that made me reluctant to step on the accelerator.

    @OVTune
Any estimate when NA version will be available for purchase again?
I read that it would be after all previous 4.0 downloads are working.

    Thanks,

    Dennis

While I'd appreciate a small power bump, little smother trans, a couple of mpg increase would be what I'd want and appreciate the most. Thing is I want it on an 87 tune. I think the cost of having to run higher priced higher octane fuel would be a deal breaker for me. Would the increase in fuel mileage percentage wise offset the difference in fuel cost? Just my opinion from a guy who's truck is just a DD.

But what about an increase in power with no mpg loss?

Not worth it to me. I honestly don't drive the truck hard and wouldn't really appreciate it. I have something to scratch that itch in the garage. Save me 2-3 mpg running regular so in X amount of time/miles I've recouped my $500 investment and now I'm saving money on fuel from that point on. Please understand I'm not knocking this thing - all you guys with big tires and armor have different wants/needs than I do. That's what it would take for it to be a wise purchase from my perspective.

I’ve been driving with this 91 tune for several weeks...I haven’t run the 87 tune yet but watching my scan gauge while driving speed limit or slightly over I am certain truck is more efficient and getting better mileage.

The problem is I’m having too much fun driving it hard and fast to see how much my tank range has increased.

Gave up on updating via my Comcast connection, which wouldn't work even in the DMZ. Updated it successfully via cell phone mobile hotspot. Standing by for @OVTune to confirm addition my ECU...
