FM sounds better in the lower RPM's, while MF sounds good in the higher RPM range. I have had both type of mufflers and didn't like either of them so I got a custom muffler.

I just welded up a 24" magnaflow in the stock spot. Its really pretty close to stock with a bit of a grumble to it. Absolutely no cabin drone, which can ruin a good exhaust if you have it. When you stand on it the 24" does have a little snap to it which sounds good :)

Magnaflow is always posting new audio files of Drive by shots and Driving away shots to hear how their exhuast systems sound on all vehicles.
Might help - Magnaflow Sound files

Which Magnaflow muffler do you have because there are a couple different models.

I heard a youtube sound clip of the Borla and I liked it but same deal I don't know which model to look at or get.

Why do some guys mount the muffler side ways so to speak?

Magnaflow paired with an AFE filter.... engine breathes and functions so much better with a great sound! I have the off-road pro series so it is a bit droney but is nothing unbearable by any means.

MBRP is also very nice. Borla sounds like a boat to me. It gurgles. That goes for just about any borla on any vehicle I have heard.
