Just a review of my recently completed “Facelift”.

I’ve included my “Parts List” and costs. If you’re thinking about performing a facelift, I highly recommend using Toyota OEM parts. Everything lined-up, bolted-in, and assembled very easily with ZERO modifications required. I tried to purchase as many used OEM parts as I could find to limit the expense. The Hood being one big exception since everything would need to be painted anyway and I wouldn’t have saved that much going used. Going with a “Scooped” hood only added the expense of the insert and IMO was definitely worth the extra spend. I recovered well over half of the parts cost by selling-off all my old 2009 parts, so the final parts expense was substantially less than what’s reflected in the spreadsheet.

    Enjoy!

Looks great! The color-matched grill shroud looks so much better imo. I took advantage of Toyota's 10% and free shipping sale and picked up a new grill plus the TRD Pro headlights for my 2nd gen. Still waiting for delivery though.

I think you did very well with the pricing, seems like you got a good deal for all of those parts. Thinking of looking into this for my rig!!
