Hello everyone, I just bought a 2007 Tacoma sr5 and it didn't come with fog lights. It has blk plastic plugs in the holes, does anyone where I can buy the buckets the lights mount into?

I might add you can buy from a dealer, but the price is outrageous, I'm hoping there's an aftermarket supplier out there.

I've bought a very similar set listed as 2nd gen replacements. With the plugs removed I don't see anything to mount the lights to. Searching on the net I found Oem buckets, mounts or whatever they are called for 150 a piece, way more than what I want to spend.
Is what your saying is they just mount in the bare hole? Thx for any help.

Mine had a harness and everything with them. I did have to wire them in like the Ebay link the other guy sent you.

    A thing or two...
The fog lights mount directly into the bumper. There are no buckets or anything like that. The lights will have a couple of posts molded into the sides that go into where those black plugs lock in. They will also have a threaded post with a wheel and another piece on the back of the light. The bit on the end of the post locks into a hole at the back of the fog light recess and the knob is used to tighten/aim the fog light.

I added a set of ebay foglights to my 08 late last year.

If you're looking for an upgrade check out the Baja designs plug and play kit.

Well if you can make them work I would go with Koito projector fog lights from a Lexus. Cheap H3 bulbs with good output and cutoff. I have a custom bumper so I don't need them to fit the stock location but if you could make them work... $25 at your local picknpull. I haven't adjusted the cutoff yet but as you can see at about 30+ft the beam is great and the coverage is pretty wide.

The first question is this: Is your rig pre-wired? Mine was not, and I spent about $60 on a cheap kit off ebay. If it is, you'd be better off going with the nicer premium kits some of the vendors here carry. But then the question of headlights comes into play. Will you be retrofitting yours for HID or keep it at halogen? If halogen, stick with cheaper fogs. If HIDs, the nicer LED fogs will be the way to go. Unless you don't care for light colors matching or plan on using the yellow laminex covering on the fogs.

What did you end up getting shipped?

My base '10 wasn't prewired and I used an Ebay kit. 5 yrs and zero issues.
