Nah...I like trucks and I need a bed for hauling. For as much as an FJ costs, I'd buy a slightly used diesel.

If I didn't need the Bed, I'd get one granted I had the cash :D.

Or the 4Runner, the Terrain Select Mode feature is pretty nifty!

You don'tneed a bed until you don't have it.....I made this mistake, thinking I could make other plans to haul etc. - bought a loaded Ford Escape Limited, great ride but man I missed my bed immediately - never again. The FJ's are sharp though, with all the trimmings.

I was thinking the same thing but think that it would be easier with a 4 day old to have 4 normal doors rather than the suicide doors for access to back seat. The older Tundra access was a pain in the ass just to get to my golf clubs. Probably looking into the Highlander for her.

Not bad. It's not a 4 door car. People gotta understand that. A good driver won't have any issues.

I went from an FJ to a Tacoma. The only 2 windows that open are the drivers and passengers. That started to bug me. So I traded. That said. The blind spots with the Tacoma bug me more. Than thr blind spots on thr FJ. Ie the rear view mirror.
