Go onto Used Car Parts.Com and put the info in and it will show you what is available at junk yards around the Country.

Did some work in the garage today, still snowed in outside.

Before and After: Removed old blown roof airbags, installed new replacements then re-installed all panels/headliner in place. Also installed new seat belts.

Next, will tackle the dash replacement with dash and steering wheel clockspring +airbag, followed by knee airbags once dash is in place.

I ran that frame part number on Toyota's locator this morning and it shows zero pieces in Toyota's US warehouses with 2 pieces on BO. There are 3 dealers that show one in stock:
    51001-04708 FRAME SUB-ASSY GROOVE TOYOTA (303)761-3222 DENVER
    51001-04708 FRAME SUB-ASSY SCHAUMBURG TOYOTA (847)882-1800 CHICAGO
51001-04708 FRAME SUB-ASSY JACK TAYLOR'S ALEX TOYOTA (703)684-0700 CEN ATLANTIC
This doesn't mean that these are actually for sale to the public. They may already be spoken for but it is possible that they're available for sale.

    This is a big misconception.
The Insurance is required to pay you out the Blue Book value of the truck if they total it. (You are not required to sell your truck to them at BB value)
You still own the truck. (You didn't have to buy it back) But most insurance companies will try and make you think that.
The reason they total a car/truck is because the repair cost exceeds the BB value of the vehicle. If that was the case? You could request the maximum payment for repair and cover the additional cost yourself to have it repaired. (you still own the truck) Only the additional cost to have it repaired would be your responsibility. ((Not to buy back the truck you never agreed to sell))
If they purchased the truck from you at Full Market value then I can see you having to buy it back.
But it would depend on what they paid you? (Blue Book or actual Market replacement?)

Thank you very much, will give them a call. I was being told that there are none available, with 2 ordered and waiting. Local dealer told me that the frame is not a stocked part, its made per order and my eta would be 6 month. Fingers crossed, one of these dealers will sell. Thanks again.

Shaumburg Toyota is the one that has the two pieces on BO and he shows one more in stock now. He may have customer orders or may just be trying to be the only one that has them available for sale.

Called the listed dealers yesterday. Was told there are none in stock anywhere, that frame is made to order only, and once you pay for it you own it. It is a non returnable item. meaning if we see them in stock, its already spoken for.

Made more progress yesterday afternoon. It is coming together nicely. Now just need to install the main airbag module and re-install the center console + seats. Getting it ready, have an appt for frame inspection on a laser machine this coming friday.

    How it started
