    I mean there are some spots where I'm sure it comes off faster than others but it seemed to stay on there the couple years I've done it.

    Is the POR15 what my mechanic used here’s that’s making the frame look black? Should I try to wire brush or remove that some other way before applying the fluid film?

    It’s very hard to remove once applied and cured. It’ll take a grinder with a flap disk to remove it.

    I don’t think you have much of a choice at this point. Apply over it. Concentrate on the internal boxed section to get that coated well. Also soak the joints where the frame laminations are.

    Yep, I'm not sure what you should do with it. Pics? I ended up stripping all the Por 15 off my truck. Then applied waxoyl. Looks like the Por was applied on new metal in that case it might be fine. Apply over top. PoR falls apart when applied over rust. Make sure to do the inside of frame.

    It’s probably just black spray paint. Just apply fluid film from over it.
