    The two problems can both be solved by just leaving your oil pan drain a little loose. Oil is constantly being refreshed by topping off and the frame gets a nice coat of oil to prevent rust.

    japanese truck made in usa & mexico with chinese steel is not a headline ................

    Yes it is as the higher the grade of steel used in the frame the less it rusts as I have seen this over the decades. Frames may be painted or wax coated , but that quickly wears off. HSS used presently and in the past by many makers really resists rusting. In Japan one is not allowed to keep a vehicle on the road for a long time so maybe that is a part of this tradition.

    The bean counters are greatly hurting sales as word has been around for decades about Toyota rusting frames. Some other makers have tried this also in recent decades ((90's and up) and have realized their mistake and have gone to HSS.

    So you are saying our American made salt literally eats Chinese steel alive? Sounds good to me. Bet they use same steel in their military.
