I am proud owner of a 2013 Toyota Tacoma . She dies on me last week and ended up being fuel pump issue,no big deal but now that I have the new 1 ,there is no power at all going to the pump! Just the floater. I checked and pulled every fuse! Please help! Any mechanics or electricians around Houston Tx???

Did the connectors get plugged back into the top of the fuel bowl when you reinstalled the tank?

Not trying to be rude, just starting simple!

Also check the fuel pump relay under the hood in the fuse box. If that is unplugged or loose, you wont get any power at the fuel pump

The pump doesnt kick on with these trucks until you engage the starter. Have you tried starting the truck or are you just testing to see if you have power before doing so?

Fuel bowl is the white/cream colored bowl that drops into the tank and houses the pump/filter

here's a thread with more info on the relay. Looks like the 2TR doesnt have a "fuel pump relay" but uses the c/open relay.

I would definitely say it's possible. I got a defective clutch right out of the box last november. Took me 5 months to figure out that a brand new plate was causing the nasty vibrations i was getting. Who did you buy the fuel pump from/what brand is it?

How did the fuel filter/sock look when you pulled the old pump? Those are known to get clogged up from time to time..

Very dirty!! I can see dirt and many insects inside of it. I went ahead and got a new pump and connected everything in place.

Did you replace the filter/sock when you put the new pump in?

Plugs are due at 100k, that would be a cheap variable to eliminate. I dont think that's your problem though. Unfortunately, im not im a few hrs west of SA, but there are lots of smart folks down that way.
