Because they were a pain to line up.... It seemed like a good idea. As I get feedback like this from enough buyers I decide what needs to be improved. Had to start somewhere and the 3M material seems high quality. Overall I hope you like it.

Lol. Fair enough. I didn't enjoy one. I could only imagine doing a couple hundred.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
I just peeled mine off and started at one side and they both fell right in place...maybe I got lucky but doesn't seem that difficult. Did you have to remove yours several times and re-align it? lol

Got mine yesterday, enjoyed a moment of zen after organizing everything. Really happy with fit and quality, the one thing I'd like to see added is some kind of coin holder. Between car washes and parking meters I have about 10-20$ in change moving about in there. Another member, @tacitos is doing something really cool for coin organization:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...e-square-pocket-mods-updated-10-11-16.453775/
but personally I'd rather keep my change in the center console, away from the eyes of the thriving crack head community of Sacramento.

Now that I have Salex myself, I've sketched some designs for some inserts for it as well that will have coin slots in it. But I need to finish my console organizers before I move to that.

yeah a coin option in the top tray would be cool. I also have to keep parking meter change. I think I will make it work in the top tray.

If you put coins in the top tray what would you store in the center console box?

Awesome, I was hoping you might be moving that direction. I'll keep an eye out for that insert once you've got it designed.

I keep my keys and wallet there when I'm driving, otherwise its empty when I'm parked. I Like the idea of a hinged lid on your organizer, but not sure how I'd like the look of it. Seems like a difficult area to design such a product around.

The problem with that pocket is the cutout that bleeds over the the cup holder behind it. My base cup mod for it will make that pocket more useful.

Just once, but it took a trim prybar to get under it because of how deep it is and how strong the adhesive is.

Stupid 3m and their stupid fantastic quality adhesives. *grumble grumble*
