The tray and the grid do work together or separately. This is from the original post:

The tray is a molded from durable black ABS plastic with a nice matte finish. The tray has no slip liners in each side to keep things from sliding and rattling while driving. The pockets are 1.25" deep. There is a small gap between the top of the lower Salex organizer and the bottom of the tray organizer. The tray can be easily removed to give access to items below. The tray just hangs from the top of the console. No mounting required!

I bought one of the trays and have to say it's great. Fantastic quality, fit, a cut-out for the usb cable and two tray rubber inserts to absorb noise. Well done guys. Create more shit so I can spend more money :)

Any thoughts on making one that is a deeper single tray towards the back keeping the front open for easy entry to the space below?

I'd like to see a cup holder phone mount that isn't Chinese garbage if possible.

I bought one (legit). It's in there. I love it. I keep handy (yet heavy/dirty) tools in the bottom, and use the top tray for pens/glasses/small stuff. It's a must have.

Little tree air fresheners. Clazzio black leather seat covers.
I can only imagine, that it's all ran off barcodes and electronics. It can't be that hard. When I pay for the services of these companies or any company. I expect it to be done right the first time! "Pay extra to get your product sooner.... Oh hey we didn't ship on time, and by the way we lost your package". Yet I still had to pay for the shipping. I get paid to do my job right the first time, so I expect when I pay for something it's done right the first time.
