Good to hear y'all weren't badly hurt. Definitely get checked out, as others have said, neck and back pain can be debilitating. Best to find it now and fix, don't wait! (Ask me how I know)

Truck can be fixed or a new one bought. Definitely sucks to have your truck for only 3 months and than this happened. Always remember, it could've been worse.

Pretty sure that thing is locked on frame, and is hard steel. So that means totaled frame in case of moderate accident.. The ABS plastic bumpers eat up the impact and break off. THAT, however, will eat the impact and transfer it to the frame.

I removed those annoying stickers on the sun visor.
It all comes down to whether it's cheaper to fix it, or write it off. I rear-ended a Dodge in my 2009 Tacoma at under 20 kph, didn't even set off the airbag, but it was still enough to write it off. I still miss that truck!

So rather than use bumpers designed to absorb impact, swap it out for something which just transfers much more load to the frame, which is exactly which if damaged will result in a vehicle written off?
