This is pretty interesting thanks for posting it. I'm already in IT but it's always nice to freshen up some skills or learn something new!

 

Absent of seeing the frame or mileage it looks to be in great shape! Definitely worth saving and maybe throwing some paint on. And maybe banging out that dent on the driver's side!

 

I always forget that shopgoodwill is a thing. I've seen people score some sweet shit on there but never had any luck myself.

 

I sent the Tacoma link to my father-in-law. He was busy and forgot to open it until after the auction ended. He regretted not bidding. He's currently spending the amount it sold for on fixing his Nissan Frontier and lived within a couple of hours from it. Still wonder how the frame looked.

 

Sorry I didn't get a chance to go look at it but if it lived its whole life here I'm sure the frame was pretty crusty. 4k was still a pretty good deal though. About a month ago there was a 3rd Gen 4runner listed that I checked out. The frame was rusty and the radiator was filled with the dreaded strawberry milkshake. I think it ended up going for around 3k. If something else pops up that anyone is interested in, send me a pm and I'll try to go look at it.

 

Yeah unfortunately they didn't have very good photos. But the body appeared to be worth it, at least

By the look of that towing bumper, I assume the frame is rusty nightmare

 

I was thinking the same thing. If I get some time on Monday, I'll go look at it.

That’s insane. I collect NES games and use an app that tracks online sales prices over time to assign a value. For perspective, Little Samson is one of the rarest licensed NES games there is, probably top 3. This is going for more than three times it’s value. Someone’s either getting screwed or not planning to pay. *climbs down off my nerdy soapbox

 

That price seemed way high to me too, wonder if goodwill is doing it to drum up some attention to their site. I've still got all my old NES stuff in a box somewhere, probably somewhere around 50 games and the power glove Haha.

 

Depending on the games you may be sitting on some money…

 

Yeah Metroid, Mario, Zelda they were the fun ones. I believe that Little Samson came out towards the end when the SNES was already out so I don’t think there are many copies. If you still have it, even if it’s just the cartridge w/o the box or manual you’re sitting on a couple grand. That’d be pretty cool.

 

Never expected Tacoma parts on Goodwill. I volunteer at a Habitat Restore but don’t think I’ve ever seen Tacoma parts.
