If you can, I'd appreciate if you can do Hammer hangers by themselves or just with springs so you can report your impressions on ride quality difference with access cab

    Got my set yesterday...

Trying to figure out when they are going to get put on the truck... as long as they are on the truck by April 30th.. that is all that matters to me.

Shit, if they somehow magically get on the truck by April 19th... I would be amazed and then wonder how in the absolute hell that happened.

But what is April 19th or am I missing something....

    Workin' on it....
Why do the bottom rivets need to be drilled out - can you not take the head off and air hammer those out too? Just asking for when I get around to installing mine.

Couple reasons, there is a washer to drill through and the crossmember flange will just bend and rivet won't come out.
Plus I get a shiver hammering on the thin frame rails.
A balljoint press that puts pressure in inside of frame I heard works well with a 3/8" grade 8 bolt to push the rivet out

Sounds like a plan actually, I will see if I can get someone with a better equipped garage than mine to install the hangars and leaves. That way I can give an impression of 100% OEM components with the hangars... It may be a transplant but it is all Toyota stock parts.

I actually did try to hammer out one of the lower frame rail rivets thinking I could save time and it bent up the washer, which I had to bend up and remove. It's just easier to drill it out and not risk bending the frame. Probably takes 5 minutes longer on each lower rivet. Also would go ahead and remove or at least lower your spare tire to make it a little easier.

Ive read in a few places that people were putting in new bushings in oem shackles with the hammer hangers. Whats the consensus on this?

If you're going for 12"+ travel with shock relocation, I think it's a good idea. If you have shocks in stock location, you probably aren't being limited by the OEM rubber bushings very much.

Is there any other benefit to swapping oem bushings for poly ones other than easier travel?

I swapped out my rear leafs pretty quick, but if the bushings are at all like the LCAs ones up front then they could deteriorate pretty fast. Poly tends to last much longer as they are a much more rugged material and less likely to seize up compared to the crap rubber stuff on stock.

So ive read this thread a couple times and people have referenced on road improvements as well. No doudt stock tacoma hangers are probably garbage but these things honestly help to create a noticeable improvement in ride quality with after market leafsprings? Just looking for further reviews before i drop a couple hundred bucks. Thanks

Yes, I have had many reports of owners with aftermarket springs noticing a big improvement in ride quality, this is because the poor ride results from the garbage stock hangers. See the reviews from @90yota who was pleasantly surprised with the difference and @seoulja99.
Pretty much everyone says they notice it, especially if they have a well tuned seat-o-the-pants dyno

    A few responses I've gotten:
"I have to say it is pretty crazy how it changes the ride quality! It is AWESOME" (AP expo)
    "cushy" (Deaver expo U402)
    "What a difference" (AP expo)
    "Smooth" (OME Dakars)
    "Less sway" (OME Dakars)
"Took the edge off unloaded" (Dakars)
"I was not prepared for such a dramatic change in ride quality after the install. If you haven't already read up on his hangers, I'd highly recommend them" (Icon RXT)

    No

The shackle bushings do not have air gaps like front control arm bushings, I would honestly rather have stock shackle bushings for trucks only seeing 10" rear travel, zero maintenance. The poly bushings I supply are high quality though and well designed.

I wonder if the AG hangers you provide help to stiffen the flex in the hanger area? If so, it probably makes the rear end act much more fluid right? My friend recently installed your hangers and he was quite impressed with the ride quality JUST in the hanger swap.
