They work great with stock springs, my personal experience is same as others with stock springs that said the ride was transformed and rides more like a car. You'll get the ride and durability, only thing is stock springs dont get more droop due to low arch

Hangers finally installed. Removing the bed made everything so much easier. Now I’m 3 inches higher in the rear and I wasn’t thinking of putting anymore preload on my coilovers but I think im gonna have to just so the rear doesn’t look too high or what do you guys think? The ride definitely improved with the hammer hangers that’s for sure

Hard to tell from that angle but it looks to me like it’s a good height all around.

Looks a little high in the back to me. Hard to tell with the angle of the picture though

I emailed filthymotorsport today and they told me that deaver springs always sit about 1 to 1.5” too high upon the initial install and they will settle over the next couple of months. Im going to try raising the front a little and see if the ride quality gets affected

Can you get a measurement for me? If you measure from top of axle tube to bottom of the frame rails, you can get the actual lift compared to stock which is about 8.25". Also looks like you have a thick shim under the spring?

Also, the HH don't add any lift with U402, as they are a longer spring. With HH and u402, you see the shackle is vertical, putting rear eye as high as possible. But with stock hangers the shackle leans rearward.

Shorty Dakars can get up to 3/8" lift since HH revision in September (was up to 3/4" with original version)

I made the measurement and it gave me 11 3/4. I do have a 3* shim to fix the vibration I was getting, I tried the cb drop and it didn’t fix it.

This might be a great solution for me to get a tiny bit of lift without changing springs. The nicer ride will also be an added bonus.

Thanks, so looks like you are right at 3" lift if you subtract the shim which appears to be 1/2" thick.

Hopefully the springs settle a little, I’m going to try raising the front a little. The ride with the HH it’s unbelievable, didn’t really think it was going to make that much of a difference but it definitely did.

Yeah a little weight would help to. Thanks glad ride is that good. I'm surprised on the vibration, haven't heard that on the U402. A thinner shim is available and you could swap that out when I get your Ubolt flip out shortly.
