Can I put trd wheels on a Tacoma 2017 SR5 access cab ?
I like the trd hieght.

so my tacoma 2017 try sport is same height or lift as tacoma access cab sr5 2017 ? sure i thought dealer told me 1.5 inch diffrence

 

Same height. TRD Pro is the only model slightly taller.

 

thanks I'm selling my trd sport it has many fancy stuff i m getting sr5 access cab cheaper and bed 6 feet i love how high the ted sport hope i like the sr5 2.7 engine

 

when i say height i mean from ground to seat how high it is is r 9.4 inch ? my tacoma 2017 trd sport is high when i park i can see front very well

 

They are all made the same height. even the seats. 4x4 or not.

The only model that is higher/taller in terms of suspension is the TRD Pro model due to a 1" front lift from factory with the Fox suspension. All other models have no height differences in suspension. They may vary if you measure ground to fender height because of the different tire sizes, though.

You can replace them with the 17s yes. However there are too many variables that go into gas mileage and subjective opinions to driving experience. Best bet is to try it yourself and see how you like/dislike it.

What you gain in wheel height you lose in tire height.

So a 265/75/16 and a 265/70/17 are nearly identical.
