I'm in agreement that the 2024 front Air Dam is way too big. I also think with it removed it make the front grill look worse. Boy it would be nice if Toyota came out with a different air dam styling or a smaller version than the one being offered.

I think it's really bogus for Toyota to say you only have to remove 9 bolts to take the air dam off. First off why should I have to remove anything if I'm paying $30,000 plus for a new Tacoma? Secondly I'm all for better mileage but I also don't like hearing a grinding noise when I pull into parking spot and hear air dam scraping a cement block or more like high curb.

Toyota seems to be taking the approach take it or leave it - which I take as "not buyer" friendly. New Tacoma's won't show up until December this year - so Toyota if your listening redesign the air dam since the jury has spoken and it rejects your Hoover Dam-Sized Air Dam.

Wait until you find out you have to replace the needle bearing.

Some guys need to recalibrate their idea of vehicle pricing. "$30,000 plus" is economy car territory nowadays. Toyota's average transaction price last year (across all models from Tundras to Corollas) was $50,000.

If you’re parking by ear your air dam is the least of your problems. As an FYI, it’s higher than your lower control arm.

Dude - you can't see the forest for the trees. Geez

The 2024 Toyota Tacoma midsize pickup truck enters an all-new generation, with variants going from basic to luxurious to intrepid. New drivetrains include a muscular hybrid. We expect pricing to start at around $29,000.

Rwd SR AC is priced above 30k at the dealership closest to Beverly Hills.

Fuel economy is government mandated. They can either put on an air dam and have the courtesy to make it easily removable or they can find the MPGs they are required to offer by giving you less power. They did the right thing here. Find something more significant to be mad about.

Buy the Chevy then…there are other choices. But if you can’t remove 9 bolts, maybe trucks aren’t for you.

4th gen section now is worse than 3rd gen section in 2016 - people are complaining about stupid stuff before the truck is even available for sale.

It is so refreshing to have this new topic on the Tacoma. I am glad it was posted and is not like one of the other topics that have been beat to death.
