Hello I recently got a 2” front 1” rear lift on my Tacoma I’m getting a humming/whining and a little vibration at low speeds and around 40mph I’ve had tried a diff drop and ecg bearing and haven’t noticed a difference any ideas?

Did it disappear on 4H ? If it firs then time to replace the needle bearing with ecgs bushing

Maybe your front alignment is off now?

maybe your carrier bearing on the rear driveshaft is whining.

Maybe your u-joints on the driveline are dry or failing? I believe you have sealed spicy units so that’s probably unlikely…

also 3rd gen is 1” factory lift so +2” is actually 3”. Do you CV boot fins rub themselves?

maybe have someone else drive the truck and you can crawl around and listen for the sound? (Truck is a giant resonating chamber, can be tough)

there’s remote mic kits that can can plant on your drive train that’ll allow you to zero in on the noise.

Actually same situation here. I did 3/4 on 6112 with 650lb coils and ended up about +2 lift. ECGS bushing installed and 1.5” rear AAL with shims.

At most subtle vibes, but i did notice a high pitch whine near 40mph. Consistent with speed even in different gears. Trouble is i don’t remember anymore if it did that in stock configuration.

    Related, maybe not related…
But, both ECGS and ARB recommend a 80w90 non-synthetic oil for their front diffs that include a Teflon bushing. Personally I noticed no difference in noise going from 75w90 syn to 80w90 Dino but YMMV.

edit: and if your weather is fair then you could even go 85w140 for maximum gear rattle reduction… I live in Canada so that’s a little too syrupy for me

Sounds like the same vibration, or noise as a buddies. His has been always there, but got a lot worse when he did a 3'' lift. He's back to stock height again, but those subtle vibrations are still there. Toyota has told him its just the nature of these trd models.
