Tacoma inventory spreadsheet

So at what point do the trucks populate this spreadsheet? From my understanding, there is an allocation from Toyota to a region, then an allocation from that region to the individual dealer. Toyota then builds them 2ish months later?

Basically I'm asking how quickly do I need to call a dealer when I see a truck I like pop up on this thing (or is it already too late?)

 

I think there are just some quirks with Toyota's search functionality since that's where the information is being pulled from.

It'll likely be hit or miss on whether its too late or not based on the trim and packages, but looking back in the thread it sounds like vehicles listed in the spreadsheet are probably available more often than not. I believe my TRD OR was built on Monday of this week (1/24) since my temp VIN quit working, but has yet to show up in this spreadsheet.

 

Just wanted to express my thanks to whoever took the time to put this tool together. I was able to find a few trucks in the country that match what I'm looking for, although none really near me. Tough times for us buyers.

 

Good stuff! Wish I stumbled upon this last week as I just manually plugged in zip codes around me and found quite a few trucks matching exactly what I wanted.

Of course, they also had $10K mark-ups on their TRD Pro 6MTs. I'm impatient but not enough where I can't just wait for whenever my local dealer gets mine in.

 

every time i look at this it seems like trucks are only going to CA. Haven't seen one truck coming to FL when I narrow it down. sigh.

Thanks for doing the hard work getting this together for us. I have a family member searching for his perfect Tacoma and this helps enormously!

you should be able to choose March 2nd's last date in the commit section of the page

 

Using this spreadsheet, I found a perfect match to the truck I'm looking for........in Baltimore.......and I'm in California. But hey, at least now I know they're out there. This spreadsheet is pretty damn great.

Thanks for posting this! Directly because of this spreadsheet, I was able to snag a TRD OR DCLB premium with the LED package because of this. Had to drive 170 miles each way to get it but it was definitely worth it. Here's a pic on the way home from picking it up.

 

First of all, super cool of the OP to take the time compiling and building this spreadsheet. So, mega kudos there. I have been checking this daily for a few weeks and noticed that it hasn't updated inventory in March yet. And I am selecting the appropriate date in the commit section. Any idea what's happening?

I live in Vancouver and also got my 2021 white longbed from rogers. I flew into pendleton and drove home.

 

That's awesome. They were really great. 90% of the deal done over the phone just had to sign the finance documents and was out the door in an hour or so. No markups or add-ons.

I've also been checking the spreadsheet daily and it looks like since Feb 27, there haven't been any green or red rows which seem to indicate if a new vehicle was added or removed from the inventory. Also, from Feb 28 - March 3, it's been showing the same 5,947 rows except today's data says there are 6,273 rows but there still aren't any red or green rows displaying. Over that time frame, I'm sure there would've been more inventory changes!

Wonder if _kmg_ or anyone else has any insight?

@_kmg_ - how do you find new dealer codes? There's a dealer near me that isn't in the CSV file and I'm trying to setup a script to run with the dealers in my area. Thanks
