Hey @_kmg_ im just thinking out loud...Very curious to know if your data on github will start grabbing '22 models when they hit Toyota inventory? I have to imagine factories are starting the '22 models at this point even though production is dropping again! Ive seen Toyota VINs with 8/20 order date, but thats probably the end of the '21 queue, no?

My Accord alternator seized up. I'm dreaming and looking at trucks while i wait on parts so i can repair this weekend :welder:

I haven't heard an update, but it was said a while ago that the 2022 change over is being delayed until about late October.

Thanks for the heads up about the 2022s. I'll need to change the code at some point to start pulling those too. I'll let y'all know when I get it done.

My dealer's website shows 2 of 2022 tacos en route. VIN check on the Toyota's website pulls it up as 2022 SR Tacoma. Order date of 8/21.

How often do dealership get updates on what they can “order”? Is it weekly?

When I ordered my allocation, dealership said they get updates on shipments every 3 to 4 months.

Keep in mind dealerships also trade inventory amongst each other to avoid long wait times.

@JackJoachim was my understanding from the 'how long did you wait for your 2021' thread that Toyota issues allocations either once or twice monthly. Now, whether your particular dealer gets or can trade for the truck you want is another issue.

We need update to the file to pull the 22 models, PLEASE pretty, with sugar on top.
Worksheet shows a couple of Courtesy/NFS/TMS trucks 21 model year coming and that's all.

My dealer's website shows only 2022 models en route, no 21.

What’s been interesting to me is that my dealer says my 21 model should be here within a week (barring unforeseen delays). I’ve had a valid permanent vin since the last week of September, it’s listed on the dealer website as in transit, and yet, it hasn’t shown up on the inventory list here, nor does it show up on toyota.com. I’m not sure why.

what a guy! I have my Tacoma now but I used this spreadsheet daily.

if I can offer any feedback it would be to condense the two sheets into one. At least for my looking having at least the dealer state in the inventory proper would have been a great time saver. As it was I typically downloaded the csv and manipulated the sheets in excel so I would sort by nearby states

Any way to widdle down what you see based on color and state? This info should help me find the specific truck I want!

Easiest way i found is this:
    1. download his 'Dealers.csv" into excel; sort that to the states you want (or not; but have it ready in excel)
    2. run the github sheet online, filter it to the basics ONLY (ie Tacoma/DoubleCab/ShortBed/Auto/4WD/V6)
    3. download that into excel (link at bottom of page)
    4. open excel and create 2 columns next to dealer#. Then [=VLookup] State/Dealer Name linking github download data to your downloaded dealers tab.
    5. Filter by State(s) you want to see
    6. Sort/filter by trim, color, , dealer, even included package options to find what youre looking for.

This literally takes less than 5 minutes; but us doing it on our end saves KMG a ton of coding time and file size/processing. Remember to look at the early posts about some caveats. simply not everything is there, this isnt bulletproof - but prooves it can be a leg up depending on your market or willingness to road trip.

[ie: lately ive used this to proove Blue Crush Metallic has not hit the new england states yet. just hitting new york now. i have to see it in person before i can decide if its for me or not! likely another 1-2 weeks]
    good luck!
