Mine does the same thing. I've noticed it when the a/c is on so I think it has a surge from when the compressor kicks on.

It's not that big of a deal for me. I've gotten use to pressing harder on the brake when I'm stopped.

60% of consumers got nothing because atleast 60% of the population is vehicle illiterate. I feal it is blown way out of proportion.

I think that little tiny lurch is when you come to a stop and the tranny shifts back to first, sometimes you are not holding the break firmly enough to handle the lower gear ratio versus the the engine RPM's.

Correct me if that doesnt sound right

Mine does it... I'm not scared for my life. I just hold my foot firmly on the brake when I'm stopped.

Mine does it. It doesn't "take off", it's more like a bump forward about 3". I've had to give the "whoops wave" to a couple of pedestrains in cross walks, they see the truck move and think I'm going to accelerate, but other than that I don't see it being unsafe.

    Seriously??????

BHLM (and maybe TRD offroad wheels) and surging on a manual transmission? Maybe his short ass should push the clutch in further!

I thought it was odd that the old fellow in it had a straight shift but the email complaints at the end all had autos. Doesn't it look like the taco has TRD OR wheels, but no TRD stickers?
