I stand corrected, there is an f-450 truck loaded with equipment from Union Pacific. Lol

what kills me is when we set up work zones on the road and you see Grandma come by and her giant Buick enclave and she can't turn a corner because she has no idea how big her car is or people who are afraid of their own cars and can't park them or drive in the lanes.

    This thread has been entertaining.

bUt gUyZz pEoPlE NeEd tHoSe oBnOxIoUsLy oVeRsIzEd vEhIcLeS because once a year they pull an RV or a boat behind it and obviously people with RVs and boats are too poor to afford a second more economical car

I totally agree. A good friend just bought (2 days ago) a new lifted F150....he sent me a pic of it parked next to his 2002 Extra-cab Tacoma 4X4. The old Tacoma has a 6" (I think) suspension lift, large bumper and winch...yet it looks like a dwarf vs the Ford. He is asked me if my son would want his old truck. I'll probably buy it for my son as my friend has had it since it was new and it has been wonderfully maintained as well as a recent new clutch and new timing belt/H2O Pump. Comparing my 3rd Gen to my buddies 1st gen and the Ford - while each has (many) merits - I think the 3rd Gen truck is the perfect size (for my needs).

Buick Enclaves and Lesabres are the landcruisers of the land yachts. Seriously though, Buick's from the 90's with the 3800 v6 are bomb proof and last forever. I have a friend who runs car auctions and he said that's the car that all the auctioneers chose to drive as their daily.

they drive them because they're comfortable. My roommates been through several and while the 3.8 is just about bomb proof everything else in that car can and will break. Had to tow him once in my '95 Pathfinder. Tiny little TruckUV, put her in first and let it idle up the hill with his big arse chained to the back
