my tuck leans 1/2" on the driver front side. I installed king shocks and all pro A arms, also 3" all pro rear leaf packs. I added more preload to the driver side and still it leans 1/2" lower! :(

Man, I've had my truck for a little over a month now and this lean is driving me nuts. Mine is about 1 1/4" as well. I don't even like being followed on the highway. People must think I've got a POS.

I'm wondering if in your case they got the leaf packs switched and put them on the wrong sides.

I know my left pack has absolutely no strength to it and is flat.

After adding extra leafs to my 97 Tacoma to fix rear sag, the driver's side was sitting 1.5 inches higher. I know I might catch heat for this fix, but after picking up 10 bags of concrete at Home Depot, I decided to stack them along the drivers edge of the bed. I drove around like that for 5 days and the lean was completely eliminated after that.

I used to have a despicable fatass supervisor who drove her Mazda RX-7 to work and it had a terrific lean to the driver's side. Someone suggested that she could fix that by just putting her lunch in the passenger seat. Not to her face though. They'd have died. :bananadead:

    Check out my build thread.
My truck leans like crazy on the driver side as well. It wasn't bad until I upgraded my suspension. I have the Fox Factory 2.5 C/O's in the front and I just recently replaced the rear with the OME Dakars with the AAL's. It looks like its leaning more now. I also added a steel gas tank skid so that might have been more of the reason. I trimmed my fenders 2.5 inches and did a cab mount chop and I still have a little rubbing on my driver side.
My solution is: Take the AAL off on the passenger side to make that level and then lowering the ride height of my passenger C/O and get a stronger spring for the driver side. Tell you the truth ill just deal with the lean until I cant take it anymore and Ill have to get my lazy a** out there and do some BS to the truck that I really shouldn't have to. Its always something with these Tacoma's.

I've noticed my 2015 tacoma had this "tacoma lean" when I put some Firestone air springs on that back. Went to go measure from the ground to the bottom of the wheel well and it was a full 1.5" different between the driver and passenger wheel wells. Even if I let all the air out of the passenger side it still doesn't level out. I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem, but why does this exist?

How did you know?! I've been noticing my lean for a while and it's been irritating me! Just today i got my new wheels and tires on and i saw the rear passenger wheel taunting me! Do we have a solution for this unacceptable phenomenon?! These two issues are darkening my heart!

Its NORMAL,the tank is on the drivers side, and gas weighs a lot.Tacoma's are not heavy duty trucks with super heavy duty springs.

Tank, battery and driver. I thought the Tacoma was bad until I sat behind a Dodge ram. Holy smokes, you'd have to hang onto the grab handle if you're a passenger. The dang thing was completely tilted.

When was the last time you changed your front coilovers?

The sagging is from lifting the rear up transfering more weight to the front and obviously between the steering column, gas tank etc. that side is heavier.

So are spacers the go-to solution then? I've got Fox 0"-3" COs maxed out at the 3", so i would have to put a spacer on top on the driver side. If i had known about this beforehand i would have spent the extra money on the 3"-5" COs and used the height adjustment to correct all this. Maybe later on i might swap out the COs, but for now it looks like a spacer is what i gotta go with.

It also makes adjusting the headlights a bitch because you only get so much adjustability

Wouldn't adding the spacer or adjusting the ride height by cranking down the coilovers affect the ''RIDE''? stiffer on drivers side compared to passenger.

It would if the weight were equal on both sides. The extra weight of battery, tank & driver (500-600lbs) softens the driver's side. Stiffening the coilover on that side could equalize it. That's why the stock coils and leaf packs aren't the same both sides.

My 06 leans DS about 1''after adjusting CO.My parking spot requires up a curb, down a curb many times a day, slow speed and I can really feel the difference from DS to PS.DS hits hard PS smooth I measured the distance between top of the CO adjustment nut/ring (spanner wrench) & the btm. of the CO top mount(threads)''If that makes any sense'',same distance.Thats why I asked about the ''RIDE''now I'm not even close to being level and DS is pretty stiff. The way I see it it's not a problem it's a situation, and figure it out ha,spend a little $$ bust out the tools and have some fun!

You have one inch less travel with a heavier spring. Not surprising the ride feels different. Relative to you and the tank the battery is small change but moving it won’t hurt, especially if you feel hits in the front more so than those in the back. With the exhaust running the length on the passenger side it’s difficult to balance but at least one can keep it in mind when loading tools or for trips.
