While I’ve been on deployment my Dad and Brother were gracious enough to do some work on the truck. They replaced UCA’s, LCA’s, and struts/ shocks as far as suspension goes.

I previously had a 3 inch lift with an additional spacer (I know trust me) in the front. After the install the truck has a significantly higher amount of lean on the driver side than it did before, as well as being lower in the front that it was originally. I can’t get exact number as I’m still not home, just trying to get some information as to what I should do about it upon return. From what I know the only options are to completely replace with adjusts coil overs and adjustable as needed, or put a spacer on the right side to compensate. Thanks

Struts: rough country 6 inch lifted strut
    Coils: stock from previous struts
    LCA/UCA: oem

    Stuff, things, this, an ADS
Gas tank and battery on one side causes taco lean. 1/4” spaced on drivers side will compensate.

You should measure from centre of hub to fender front and back. Then you will have a better idea of what’s needed

    Working on them
you can install a .25 inch spacer on the front left and that will equal to about .50 Lift (half inch) several companies out there make them.

Wheeler’s Off-Road has a variety of spacers and the best prices around. However, anything over 3/8ths and you’ll need longer strut cover bolts, which they carry also.

Thanks gents, if I get the measurements I’ll post them for each side and wheel position.

If it makes you feel better, my stock 07’ is almost 1/4” lower on the drivers side.
I honestly can’t tell by looking. But by measurement it’s there.
Actually haven’t remeasured it in years. I’m figuring maybe the other side will wear on down to even it all out? Lol

Seriously though, I hope you get it fixed.
And thank you Sir for defending our great country.

    Update on measurements:
    Front driver: 40
    Front passenger: 42
    Rear driver: 40
    Rear passenger: 42

2 inches seems like a bit much for typical Tacoma lean. Any ideas on what could be the cause?

Also, because of the bumper up front would it be a good idea to upgrade to a 700# spring to help lift the front end back up? Someone out there has to have done this. The stock springs could have too much weight on them causing the front end sag.

@Joefox1 is the lean just in the front or in the rear as well? Are you using spacer blocks in the rear or new springs? I have a 2013 dclb with a 2.5 inch lift with 6112's in the front and Dakars in the rear. After I put in the 1/4" spacer in the front, my rear was still off by 1/2". I put in the 1/2" spacer block from wheelers on the driverside rear and it worked perfectly with no issues.

The lean on the driver side is in the rear as well as the front. I am assuming new coil springs with compensate for the front bumper but as for the rear I have no idea. The truck currently has a block/ add a leaf in the rear.

The cause will be the extra weight on the driver side - battery, steering components, driver, gas tank, plus any extra items you have stored in your truck. But, two inches does sound excessive. Where tires aired to same PSI? Any damage to a fender? Measured on even ground?

When I installed 5100's on OEM springs way back at about 50K miles, the height difference before the install was about 3/16". I swapped the springs and that evened it out for a short time. Three months ago, at 170K, I replaced the OEM springs with OME 885. Height difference before the install was about 5/8". With a 1/4" spacer on driver side, the height difference is now 1/16" below the passenger side. I bought a 3/8" space; so, I'm ready to throw that in if the height difference approaches 1/4".
