So 13k miles and 3 years later and the value went up $6k. Damn, that’s just crazy.

Thank you for the help, at this time, it would be best to let the authorities deal with it.

Anyone who decides to take anything from this truck, is accepting the punishment of stealing said truck. I would like to find the owner and help, but if it's considered stolen, then I won't move it.

I think you're taking this a bit too serious man.. No one on here is going to do anything to that truck. Part out is just a recurring joke on here that some find funny

I know one person who was actually facing jail time for taking the hood and front bumper off an abandoned vehicle, because the vehicle was stolen and left on a backroad. If I don't say it here, someone might feel like they can get away with some free parts. Look at all the posts on Facebook Marketplace for stolen tailgates, it happens everyday.

Like I said - no one on here, meaning this forum. FB is in a class all by itself and comparing the two is like comparing a Rolls Royce to a fresh dog turd

I don't believe for a single minute, that everyone who registers a screen name on this forum has impeccable moral decision making, people are people, humans make mistakes, all of us, and that desire can easily overcome the morals of folks these days.

I just spoke to a King County Officer who is going up to look at the vehicle but he confirmed it is stolen. If the owner wants help, the officer will refer the owner to W.O.R.N and we can help get it down from that point.

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.

This. See the later pages of this build thread:https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-expo-tron-build.420883/page-22

We all make mistakes, some bigger than others. But good rule of thumb is to avoid posting illegal and immoral things on the open internet. It can come back to bite you.

I may be dumb and make some boneheaded decisions but stealing has never been one of them. I have been victim of theft before and know all too well the pain it causes. My joke may have been tasteless but it was just that a joke.

Owner is now probably the insurance company who paid out the guy from whom it was stolen….
Also, my post above was a joke, obviously

I never said anything specific about any one person on the forum, but not everyone is honest.

According to the officer I spoke with who attempted to get to the vehicle this morning, it was reported stolen just over a week ago. He will be contacting the owner, and then a tow will be necessary. I requested the officer to let the owner know to contact the Washington Offroad Recovery Network W.O.R.N on Facebook and we would find volunteers with the capability to get the vehicle out to the main road for free.

We just want to help get the vehicle back to the owner.

    OME and worth every penny.
getting it back may be the last thing the owner wants. Never know what insurance will do now that there's a body.
