Tacoma Lifestyle is possibly the worst vendor across anything I have ordered in my life. I made an account here just to share my first experience, and hopefully save anyone from buying from them.

I ordered new suspension and lift kit as my truck gets to 100k, 2” lift as I work in the high mountain deserts exclusively off road. I ordered an Old Man Emu kit from Tacoma Lifestyle as they were the only site that did not say “out of stock”… my first mistake.

They take my money when I ordered it, and I heard nothing from them- so day 3 I have to reach out about the status of my order and ya know taking my money without any information. They say it was a “custom order” and it would be 2-3 weeks straight from manufacturer- I understand, no worries right? I told my other order to cancel it as this would get here quicker. Im a little set off that I HAD to reach out to them, but it’s whatever we’re all busy these days- things happen no problem. Thinking that was my second mistake.

3 weeks go by and didn’t receive a notification, email, or update to my order. Getting mad at this point they just took my money and gave me nothing. I reach out again- a step beyond angry. I hear nothing from them for a few days then get a message for tracking info to a man that’s not me, an order that was completed almost 2 years ago, in a state that’s also not mine- gave me all but the other customer’s address. Sales rep came back and blamed that employee for being new and not knowing what’s going on, they then bombarded me with niceties and screenshots of “we’re sorry”, “we’ll move this up”, and “we’ll get this figured out for you”… believing them again was my 3rd mistake.

Days go by and still nothing, past 3 weeks at this point, my money has already cleared and I’m getting more mad. I reach out again, even more angry than before. They send me another timeline of another 2-3 weeks. So I kept hounding them, every other day on my order status. Finally it goes through with an expected delivery date coming up which would be about 6 weeks from my original order date. They apologized throughout this whole process but never attempted to rectify the underlying problem of their lies about good service and fast delivery. Never offered to make anything up, offer me discounts or even attempt to appear remorseful outside of empty words.

Terrible company, terrible service. Don’t comment about supply chain or work force- you give a timeline, stick to your word. And, at the very least don’t make your customer have to reach out about why you took their money with nothing to show.

Tacoma Lifestyle is the worst experience I ever had as well. The automatic reply to my inquiry about "where is my order" tells the whole story.
They reply with a statement not to send another inquiry because you will go to the back of the list and they are backed up. Tells me that there are tons of other p*ssed customers. I ordered two decals ($40 loss I am assuming) that would fit into an ordinary envelope and weeks later, no shipping confirmation, no tracking number and of course no response. I would strongly encourage anyone considering ordering from this place look elsewhere.
I`ll be reporting to the BBB and anywhere else I can think of.

Call or email your credit card or debit card you used, they’ll make a claim number. Show proof you never received anything within that timeframe, I’m sure you’ll be refunded within a week or less, your bank or cc know you’ve been trying to cancel order for quite some time

I am currently going through the exact situation with Tundra Lifestyle. I found this post looking for reviews about them. Can you expand on what happened after?

There’s a whole thread about their customer service here:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tacoma-lifestyle-shipping-turnaround.812446/

If you search the forum there are a bunch of other threads on the same topic as well (unfortunately). The one I linked above is just the main one that everyone has replied in.

Wow this is crazy I purchased PRP seats on June 18th and have not heard back from this company 1 time. I also emailed them aging about my order on June 25th with no response. It's laughable that this company say it's not the norm to experience this. A quick Google search and that's all that pops up is issues with this company.

Ya the 18th of June and the 25th of June are both not Mondays. This seems to be a systemic problem with the company. ORDER #15708. Emailed
sales@tacomalifestyle.com at 1327 PST with no response.

And this is why everyone hates drop shippers. They really aren’t needed anymore these days anyway. Just do a charge back on your credit card and move on, everyone.

Seriously just buy straight from the manufacturer, avoid these deadbeat drop shippers, give more profits to the people actually making the gear, and put the middle men out of business.
