Tacoma lifestyle over price.

So I was looking into getting some accessories for the interior of my Tacoma. I saw Tacoma lifestyle and liked what they had for sell but I also looked into Amazon they have a lot of the same products but much lower price. Is there a difference in quality or do they just jack up the price.

 

Amazon has good prices usually. Things I would not purchase would be spark plugs and specialized parts like that, not saying some plugs aren’t good but I’ve heard of issues on here about them sometimes. I’d go to the stealer and get them. Accessories would be good from Amazon.

 

Been known “Tacoma lifestyle” has a really bad rep around here.

 

Yea I concur with others that if the 'stuff' is easily replaceable and not required for real function ( spark plugs etc )
I'd do Amazon and save a few ( or more ) dollars. I got the console divider and items like that and they are fine.

Spark plugs, oil, oil filters, brake parts, hoses, belts etc I'd get from Toyota.

I did get the 'cabin' filter for like half-price from Amazon but I don't consider that a critical component.
Oh don't forget to get fuzzy dice... it's a must-have LOL

 

Yep, markup price. Go with Amazon.

 

I assume Tacoma Lifestyle has an actual storefront. If so, that helps account for higher prices vs many Amazon sellers, who don't have that expense to cover.

 

Yap.. They have a 3rd brake for sale for a 3rd gen $75 and found a identical light from alliexpress for $25.. took 2 weeks delivery

 

Tacoma lifestyle just purchases the same Amazon stuff and marks it up. They had the sequential side mirror lights for close to $100. Bought the same ones on Amazon for under $30, 2yrs later still no issues.
