    “We again are sorry for the frustration that has been caused for you. We feel that we have been honest and cooperative in our responses. We can't cancel an order once a shipping label has been created because it is too late in the shipping process to cancel. It is our policy with cancelations. We offered to help you return the item for a full refund. You would have not to pay any shipping fees or restocking fees. As I said before we would have given you a full refund. We normally do not do this, but I can help you out with a return even though you opened a chargeback. Once you let me know when the item is dropped off to be shipped back to us, let me know and I will accept the chargeback. If you do not return the item, we will file a response to fight the chargeback. Let us know how you want to proceed. As we said before we are here to help you and we do want to create any more frustration for you.”

    I asked them to cancel this and not ship it to begin with. Again, a waste of my time and energy, the USPS’s time and energy, and their own time and energy.

    It seems like they lack any control over their shipping process, or pretend to.

    I find it interesting that one of their vendors stepped up to defend them, but after shedding more light on the issue and when asked if that was something he would do, no response.

    I say if they are willing to give you a full refund just do it the way they want. I looked up if a shipping label could be voided and according to usps it can as long as the tracking doesn't say accepted, but ups and fed ex say they can't void a label once it's created.

    At this point, I really have no option but to do as they ask. But, all of this could have been avoided had they just cancelled and not shipped the order. Good to know about the various shipping label voiding policies of the shipping companies. Thank you! Even if they offered the product to me at no charge, I would not accept it. Call me crazy, but I don’t believe in supporting businesses that I perceive as incredulous. I will be returning the product/ refusing delivery immediately, however I am not anticipating a quick refund based on my experiences with Tacoma Lifestyle so far and the info I received from the Utah BBB.

    Now this from Tyler at Tacoma Lifestyle after I told them I would send it back upon receipt….

    Hopefully, this is my last post in regard to this…

    I sent an email back to them asking how I get reimbursed for the shipping cost to get the lights back to them. I was then sent a shipping label.

    I received a phone call from Sebastian at Tacoma Lifestyle shortly after that. He told me that he is the person in charge of their social media endeavors. He apologized for the issues regarding my order and tried to express how important my satisfaction was. He reiterated that they were extremely busy due to a sale they had and are trying to get customers orders out and only had so many staff. I let him know that I had found others with similar issues and that his record with the BBB leaves a little to be desired. I also mentioned how tight the Tacoma truck community is and that I was frustrated with the lack of support from a company claiming to support that community.

    I do believe his apologies were sincere. But, I also told him I believe the only reason for his call was due to a negative trend surfacing from my posts and other’s posts regarding Tacoma Lifestyle. I can’t say I blame him. I let him know I would continue to keep the Tacoma World community updated until this was resolved. I also told him the number of order issues is a matter of percentages and that they will happen. It how it gets resolved that is important. He apologized again and expressed his hopes that at some point I would do business with his company again. I told him it was unlikely. We said goodbye and hung up.

    He sent a text to me shortly after saying that he had spoken with his team and they were going to accept the chargeback and that I may keep the lights or give them to another Tacoma owner. I appreciate that offer and it does seem like they want a better outcome for this situation. I still have the shipping label to return them. The order is en route and is supposed to deliver tomorrow by USPS.

    Their shipping issues appear to be consistent based on the other, older thread on TW. I placed my order on 9/1 and it still hasn't shipped. I've messaged the rep on here and emailed their support only to get "it will ship soon" responses and still nothing has happened. They seem to genuinely care about reputation and customer satisfaction.. but if they don't have the logistics and team in place to pull off fulfilling orders in even a remotely timely manner then they need to stop making excuses and fix it.

    Standard for USPS lots of times stuff showes up then I get tracking. My nemesis is FedEx ground residental they never come to my house always opperational delay. Sometimes it takes them 2 weeks to come out even though the stuff is sitting at their loading dock for days on end.

    I try to avoid FedEx if at all possible years ago I ordered a catback exhaust it was roughly $1300 so automatically the vendor put this as signature required. It arrived on time and the box was in good shape but I was at work when FedEx came the driver signed for and left my exhaust just behind hedges in front of my house which is on a highly traveled road so when I got home and saw this I called FedEx and the rep basically told me that it's the drivers discretion to leave a package if nobody was home and the same with signing for it, that's was their policy back then!

    Ironically today FedEx showed up on delivery day. Given it was chewy and they have to make service,but last month they were 2 days late.

    i am having a similar experience. I ordered from Tacomalifestyle on the 15th. Not a word from them 11 days later. I reached out to them with my order number using their website, and zero response.
    I saw they were posting today on instagram, so messaged them there, and still no response. I saw that they posted on their account feed 35 mins after i messaged them. Not impressed. @tacomalifestyle

    TL will never get my business going forward after this debacle. In short, they have all the time to post on instagram throughout the day, but can’t fulfill a simple order in a timely manner or at all for that matter. hope they get it together, as theirs is a failing business model.

    Just like to say that I just got my t shirt and no harm has been done. I think it could have been easy to be mad at Tacoma Lifestyle, but I've used them 3 times now and everytime, my product came in good condition. I was only upset at the fees I had to pay at the door which isn't entirely their fault.

    I’ve placed an order with TL on September 4th for a Sherpa sport rack which has a lead time of 5-6 weeks however that time has passed and when I reach out it’s either I get a reply saying there’s a lead time or I don’t get no reply at all.

    I ordered the same roof rack on the same day and have yet to see any movement as well. I’ve reached out several times and they all respond “should be this week”. In the last week they have posted (twice) instagram stories of their warehouse, and the guy filming says “tons of roof racks in stock and ready to ship”. Then there’s a link to the roof rack we ordered. It’s infuriating.
    I hope you get yours soon.

    I spoke to Sherpa on the 20th of Oct they told me they had issues with wind noise I understand quality control, however I reached out to Sherpa once more yesterday and it seems they resolved the issue and TL already had an updated batch . It’s disappointing having to speak to the manufacturer themselves for updates , TL did not have the courtesy to send out an email to their customers

    Any movement on your rack? Nothing on my end. Now their Instagram is pushing all this month long Black Friday sale stuff. I’m absolutely fucking livid with these people.
