So I am planning on buying the icon stage 2 lift kit for my truck but instead of using the 1.5 AAL I am planning on using the all-pro standard duty leaf pack. Does anybody know if this will work properly for me or are the 2.0 icon shocks not long enough to handle that?

So I'm gonna have 3 inches in the front and only 1.5 in the rear? That's kinda lame

Hm especially with my font plate bumper and winch... I guess I'd be lucky to get 2-2.5

I wheel pretty often so I should probably stay away from that. No mall crawler here

How much addional weight will I need to run before I get the benefit of running 700# Springs on extended travel kings with compression adjustments. I plan to run a steel bumper, many different skids, winch.... I am trying to gain the full 3" lift without preloading the shocks a ton and making them preform similar to stock, I want the kings to feel like kings basically. I have friends who invested tons of money in King or fox and lifted their trucks only to have it ride worse due to the preload they had on the front to get the lift.

Spacers are never a good choice. Spend the extra money and get a set of 5100s, it will level you out and give you a better ride than stock. And with all the Black Friday deals going on right now it's a great time to buy them.

Appreciate it. Could I get away with the 5100s on just the front or would I likely need to do front and rear?

Something like below for the front?

If all you want to do is level the truck out you can get away with doing just the fronts. If you want an actual "lift" you also need to do the rear.

You can get a set of adjustable 5100s for 190 bucks shipped right now from headstrongoffoadroad.com All you have to do is put your factory coils on the new shocks and you will be good to go.

In a different thread someone said Jet.com has 5100's to your door for 136 using the first time buyer 20% off coupon.

$136 for one would be outrageous
