I have tried to search for the answer to my question and could not find.

What would degrade a shock faster?

Would a 700lb spring be worse due to minimal movement?
    Or
Would a 600lb spring be too soft for the shock causing more movement?

Example- No preload on shocks and truck is stock weight, with no lift from spring.

If I just add 3" spacers to the front can I leave everything else stock?

Hey guys so I recently added a cap and now my 2014 sport is squatting pretty good when loaded up with my tools.. I have the stock blistein 4600s. I decided to get the toytec progressive AAL and was hoping to just install them with the stock 4600s..after some more research I've found that typically you'll add the blistein 5100 or the like to gain adequate down travel.. does anyone have any advice as far as if the 4600s will work? Also wondering if I'll need to extend the brake lines if I go the 5100 route..

    Thanks

Ok guys I have less than 3K to spend on a suspension lift... Honestly I don't want to go over 2500.00 what is out there that is quality... NOW GO!!!! I am running 285's and want a 3'' lift for sure... nothing bigger than 4'' since its my daily driver and I drive about 90 miles a day for work 5 days a week...

Could anyone tell me the differences between Fox Shocks and Bilstein/OME shocks? Fox seem to be a bit more expensive just wanted to understand if they are worth it.

Im probably missing the answer to this somewhere but its eluding me.

3rd gen TRD OR with Dakar Leafs

Are there two different length 5100's? Or, are there the 5100's and the 5125. Do both shock sets bolt directly into the stock mounting points?

Hey guys, Gunna need to rebuild my coilovers soon. How do you guys do it and not lose the ability to drive around?

Also getting a weird clank sound on drive side front when going over bumps or offroading, lower shock mount? UCA?

Changing rear shocks isn't going to affect the level at all is it? Got 5100's in the front a month and had it leveled, and am now gonna buy some bilstein's for the rear and want to make sure it's not gonna need to be re-leveled. I know it shouldn't because they bolt in, but just want to make sure

More than likely not. the rears are not adjustable and the height is more dependent on the condition of your leaf pack.

I'm new and was thinking of lifting my 2017 dclb. I was wanting to get a 2.5-3 inch lift. Was reading about the bilsteins 5100s, there was a disclaimer about not exceeding the 1.75inch mark on the bilsteins for 6ft bed 4x2s. Does anyone know why? Not doing any off roading, but just wanted a higher ride without spending too much money.

Well here's my scenario. I have King 2.5 and Camburg coming in the mail at the end of the month, the rear leaf pack is the last piece of my puzzle. I am building the truck to be a comfortable all around truck. I drive it on weekends when taking the lady out to eat, grocery shopping or when we go wheeling. When I do go wheeling, I am speeding through the desert (If you couldn't tell from my profile picture, I'm a speed junkie). I do little overland stuff and don't carry constant weight. I only have weight (430lbs street bike or ~100 of camping gear) maybe once or twice a month (if that). I am looking for something that is comfortable on and off-road, with and without a load. I won't have anything over 430lbs.

I'm a little lost at what is best for me. Light pack? Light pack with airbags? Heavy pack? Custom? I am most likely going Deaver since they are a local company to me. However, I am VERY open to other recommendations that suits my needs/wants.
