If you install oem they will be the droop limiter in your rear suspension.

I’m looking to get rid of my RC 2/1 leveling kit (probably on a block) with 285/70/17’s also. 22-3/4” to fender and has play in steering and back bounces everywhere. Would like to be 3” no rub, firmer wheel and smoother ride. Help me out 6112’s , toytec, icon 1, others? AAL and UCA’s needed? Show me options please

@HeadStrong Off-Road.....I just bought a stock 2015 TRD PRO with 23,000 miles and want to "correct" the rear squat cuz it just plain bugs me. I measured the center of the front hub to the bottom of the fender well and it measures 23" and I did the same in the rear and it measure 22.50" which means the rear squats 1/2". I measured with the bed empty except for the Extang Solid Fold 2.0 tonneau cover. The only thing I did was install new BFG KO2 265/75/16 tires.

I was think about installing your front HS 1/2" Top Plate Spacers - TT05512-TPS which would raise up the front 1" as well as installing the HeadStrong 3 leaf progressive Add-a-leafs with u-bolts - HS-TOY055-3AL WITHOUT the stock overload which would raise up the rear 1.5". If I do both of these then not only will the truck be raised up but it also should be level right?? I think this slight lift should look great and if it levels the front to back then my OCD will be happy!

Also, what is the difference between the Headstrong AAL and the Icon 1.5" Progressive AAL-51100? Is it worth the additional cost for the Icon AAL versus the Headstrong ones? I want to keep the stock shocks in back and also I want to keep the stock coils and struts in front. If I install the HS 1/2" top plate spacers and the HS 3 leaf progressive aal do I need to change the stock front struts or the rear stock shocks? and do I need extended SS brakes lines for the front and/or back?

    here's a current photo of my truck20171109_162406_resized.jpg

I look forward to your reply & Thanks for all of your help!!

Since you have a 2wd you can get a 4" lift from the spindles. That is an excellent way to lift the truck while maintaining the factory ride quality and geometry. Since it maintains the geometry there will be no need to run aftermarket uca's which, you will need to run with a 2.5"+ suspension lift. The cost of the spindles is actually less than the strut coil combinations with upper control arms. I personally have spindles on my 2wd and I can't say enough about the ride and stance. Here is a link to a popular thread on here about the spindles. We also have quite a bit of pictures on our Facebook page of people running the spindles along with other lifts we offer.

Here is a link to them and to the Maxtrac kits on our site as well. Keep in mind we can modify the kits to suit your particular needs as well (like subbing out the blocks for an add-a-leaf or leaf pack, etc).

    Thank you Marie....

I will order the spindles.... but at 4” , won’t that give me a ‘bro lean ( I think that’s the term).... high front/lower back... or will it make it level and even?...spindles on the front and nothing in the back?... could you please confirm me, so I can hit the “order now” button....:typing:

The spindles will only lift the front so depending on what stance you are shooting for you would need something else in the back to lift the rear end the desired amount. The best way to know how much you need and narrow down the rear lift options is to measure.

I just PM'd you some information on measuring. Let me know what you think :)

Hey guys and gals..... I have been in communication with Marie and she is AWESOME providing information on some stuff that I want to do to my taco, but we both came to a rhetorical question about back-spacing ...

Does anybody here runs the maxtrac 4" lift spindles WITH 16" wheels???

I know the maxtrac 4" spindles call for a 17" rim but I want to run the 16"anthracite SR5 wheels.

    Thank you guys....

Just had a stage 2 Fox kit from headstrong installed and I have some slight vibration in the steering wheel when travelling around 20 miles per hour. Anything below or over that it just just fine and there is no vibration. Anyone have any ideas on what would cause that?

4 inch suspension lift wheels and tires “so far”
I’m running a 4 inch suspension with 2 inch spacers up front. So 6 inches. With 35s and 20s. Here’s my question have any of you run into the issue when you are turning the truck acts like it’s braking or trying to. And something goes off in the truck beeping? I had an 05 and leveled it out. This truck was lifted when I purchased it. I never had this issue with the 05 this is an 11

That much lift and stacked lifts, it sounds like your A Trac is freaking out or you have a binding issue on your CV axles.

But it only does it for a second and then quits until I turn again.

Both A Trac and CV binding will act up when turning. You simply have too much lift.
